MyGaming Alumnus
Welcome to MyGaming's first Dota 2 Sunday Evening Cup Series, hosted by PolarfluKe.
As this is the first tournament of its type on MyGaming, we are hoping to learn a lot from the experience. That's not to say this will be an amateurish affair - PolarfluKe has years of experience hosting such tournaments in the SA competitive online gaming space, so we are in good hands.
All registered MyGaming forum members are welcome to enter the tournament, or observe the proceedings over the coming weeks.
The tournament will be live-streamed with commentary.
With the high-calibre of Dota 2 gameplay showcased by SA gamers and the ever-growing professional gaming scene in the country, we hope that MyGaming can add to that landscape with a successful tournament.
Whether a green-gilled noob or a grizzled veteran, please join us in the first of what will hopefully be an ongoing endeavour.
We would appreciate as much feedback as possible from both participants and observers of the tournament.
Please post comments, suggestions, observations, criticism, discussions and any other thoughts you have in the Dota 2 SECS forum.
At the end of this first run, we want to label the tournament as a success, which will mean more tournaments in the near future, with the potential for bigger and better prizes as we go along.
It's up to the community to show us that there is room for such independent gaming cup tournaments, so get those forum posts coming and hone your Dota 2 skills.
See you on the war fields.
Regards,
James
