Dealing with Cancer

Nowadays, if Cancer is caught early, the recovery rate is VERY high. Hope she recovers soon!

Although it depends on which type of cancer it is since some can go undetected for a long time as with my aunt it already spread to her whole body and only showed symptoms after that with heavy breathing since it was in lungs at first :(.

Yip, but if caught early, the recovery rate is MUCH higher than it was a decade or two back...

That's very good news for sufferers these days then. My mom was first diagnosed back in '92 or so, and it kept going and coming back until it eventually got the best of her in '98. I'm really glad to hear that the chance of beating it is so much better these days. I hadn't realized that things had improved so much.
 
That's what doctors told my sister and parents, my sister's cancerous brain tumor was caught early, and today there is no sign of any cancer any more(after operations, laser treatment and chemo). A few years back, having brain cancer was a death sentence.
 
Well guys i need you all to hold thumbs for my missus went for a mammogram today because she has some bad lump on the right side and she's stressed out a lot seeing as breast cancer is in her family and she has already lost 2 aunts and 3 nieces to breast cancer. An i love my wifes boobies

so just have her in your thoughts and hope for the best please

I'm out for the night hope i can sleep with her being restless and me in neck spasm

Wow sorry to hear that AT. All the best to you and the missus. Hopefully the tests comes back clean.
 
Sorry to hear about your bad news. I've had a couple of family members taken by cancer and it's has never been any easier.

My only advice is to stay strong and positive for your mom but make sure you give yourself time release any feelings you may have held back for her sake. IMO, finding something to keep your mind off of what's happening is just running away from the truth. Sure, it's easier than dealing with the facts but you can't ignore the truth forever.

Great to hear that there is some semblance of a silver lining your situation, MH, recently lost an uncle to Pancreatic Cancer (this past December).

Anyway, here's to your mom kicking cancer in the butt while you don some pom-poms and cheer her on:).

Thanx for the GL and well wishes guys means a lot she only fell asleep like 3 this morning so we had some talks about our road together so far, she says you guys are a great community.

Well at least she got some sleep. Hopefully you get to keep your boobies :p if not I hear they've made great progress in breast cancer recovery and there is still plenty of the road to travel together

I lost my mom to cancer 2 years ago she passed away in a month from being diagnosed stage 3 stomach cancer fucking terrible the last couple of years has been tough going.Love and cherish your parents while they with you.OH yeah I forgot fuck cancer.

Geez AT, that's rough. holding thumbs that the results are good. Must be an impossibly difficult wait.
 
Well guys we got the results and mommies boobies are healthy it's a "melk Klier" that just went awry but with some medicine and ointment it should be fine in 5-6 days so thanx a lot for all the support my gaming is truly a community
