I know that they are hard to take off properly without this tool...

This one in particular is pretty damn amazing. Very good quality, offers back lighting and decent warranty.
On a side note, I have been trying to get hold of you lol
The Coolermaster Storm QuickFire is on sale at zaps (R866.00):

I use a Logitech K260 wireless keyboard and have no problems with it and have not changed the battery since the day I bought it yet the mouse battery went flat fast so went back to my razor tron one.
Lol, I love the panic button![]()
Once you have used a mechanical keyboard, you won't ever want to go back to spongy, rubber dome keyboards. I got myself this CM KB for use at the office as I do a lot of typing and it's heaven!
Sure it's loud, but if you gaming a loud KB shouldn't be an issue. Also this thing weighs a ton, so it feels rock solid. After you go mechanical, you can go full nerd and customise your keycaps to all sorts of weird and wonderful combinations:

I really want to try out a mechanical keyboard before I buy one but I still don't get what makes them so much more expensive when they do so much less
