True that.... Chances are that I have a better chance of getting into a band in G'town though if I play bass because the guitarists in G'town are brilliant. Can't really match up to them So that's also one of my motivations. But I get what you mean 
Powder some advice. Do not learn more than one. You will never truly be a good metal guitarist if you learn more than 2. A jack of all trades a master in none.
Ya I'm looking for a good quality one. Just want to learn as many instruments as possible I guess. The fun one's at least I <3 Music Connection. If I had a million bucks to spend probably at least half would be spent at that shop.
Bass lol why not. Um Tom Araya used a jackson and now he uses a bc rich. I am not to sure on bass guitars though. But you will have to buy a new amp as well. My bassist has a foot pedal with all diff effects
But do not get a cheap one;-) Maybe get one from music connection as they will take upto a grand off like they did with my new guitar and they give you free stuff aswell.

Well, that's coming from one person though. People say that the government is bad but a lot of propaganda comes from America to undermine the Chinese government. It's not as bad as some people make it sound. I just found it beautiful, safe and the people are very polite and aren't as half as selfish as most people in the West.
I actually would rather not live there. It is a scary place for Chinese people. I knew a chinaman and he said it is pretty bad there as if you say anything about the government they take you to prison and end up shooting you.
Chinese is quite a simple language, it's just that you have to learn all the characters as well. I went to China last year and I didn't want to come back. They're such chilled out, amazing people.
Same here. I have always loved the japanese and chinese(before I knew anything about anime) Chinese and japenese people love me and just wished I carried on studying there language.

Well my dream is just to go to tokyo I had a Japanese friend whose mother was from japan. His mother was such a nice person.

Icon is the real geek fest. Rage is just a commercial thing Icon I think is based on 80s nerd stuff.
Think I should try get a deck. There's a society at my uni who plays a lot of that so I'm sure they could teach me or something. But I've never heard of Icon before... I thought rAge was really the only big geek fest out there.

I actually tried D&D table top once but I couldn't get into it... Maybe my imagination isn't big enough. I think virtual gaming is more my thing
