Yea, was getting that just now too , will check again tomorrow , might be Afrihost taking a dip , i was getting a "weak connection" warning while i was racing during multiplayer , after that couldn't get back in.

What a trophy!
I was thinking for this week that we take some aussie V8 super cars around Laguna Seca. They a bit pricey if you haven't gotten lucky with the prize spinner though so not sure if thats a deal breaker?

Hmmm, depends on what you see as "a bit pricey". It probably won't be be worst thing ever, as they are all the exact same, so you only have to buy one with the livery you like. Do you perhaps know what their prices are? If they are below a million I can't see why not

Seriously impressed with ya'll, going out of your comfort zones and participation in this, really appreciated. I've seen everyone improve throughout the week and it's been great.

Yeah then that should be fine. I can't see why not. I'm pretty sure after these challenges we're all got some spare cash to spend. Those Aussie V8's are beasts!! Laguna Seca is also quite a technical track, so should be a real duzi of a challenge as well.

Okay dude, so is our challenge set? What about tweaking and upgrading the cars? Should we keep them stock standard or are we allowed to tune and upgrade? Also, does it only cover the Ford and the Holden V8 cars?

Lets keep them stock parts wise but can do some tweaking in the tune section. Any of the V8 cars should be fine. I pulled the below list from IGN so hopefully its correct:

There only seems to be a sunshine option. i'd hate to do this track in the wet.
Looking at the leaderboard, should we allow mods to a max of S800 to better be able to try challenge the top times as well? Not a big difference but could surely mean a few seconds? Thoughts and opinions?
Ok cool, i personally like adding tunes, just more options to tinker with.

I hope someone took a screenshot last night. I only had a short time to play but I must say that I'm finding this challenge a lot more fun that the previous ones! I prefer the shorter track because I don't have much time to play I get to actually learn the course properly. Try to get the best results at each turn. Of course that won't help me beat you maniacs but it does feel more forgiving which is great!

So, early sighting laps haven't gone well at all for me. Been trying to not use any of the assists, as in NO ABS, NO TCS and NO STM....let's just say it's been very challenging indeed. you got to be extra careful if you have any hope of staying on the tarmac.
