All things Sport

nog een dom poes...

sad thing is this guy might end up blowing for us if the irb's selection for ref's keeps going at it's current rate

Yoh Tank jy weet daar is dames wat ook hier lees ne :p. And have to say i loved the motoGp this weekend when Marquez let that front end loose i was so happy :p and rossi won his 250th premier class race :D.

Go lions to win the Currie cup, and i wonder if Rhyno Barnes will ever lash out at a referee again with that same word btw :p.

Man i can't wait to see the whole F1 Shakeup commence next year.
and then this happen............http://www.sarugbymag.co.za/blog/details/treu-in-doping-allegations

Did anyone see the punches that dropped in the super league final last week? Ben Flower should be banned for life

Dam WP that was too close! my freaking nerves.

Haha, I was on the edge of the seat. I was so hoping for that last kick to miss. Really close game, not really sure who deserved it, but glad my team won it. Gotta feel for Boshoff though, poor guy.

That was a helluva half of rugby! Great comeback, and very smart of the Lions to keep taking the play to scrums. Good match all round, I thought.

Well done Province GZ Marnitz gave you guys the game and kicked away his springbok aspirations. and now we are all springbok Fans lets support the Bokke guys :D

And then to come spoil my weekend even more Marc comes and takes his 13th pole new moto GP record. and rossi is 6th :(

So hamilton comes and screws up my good weekend :( and city goes and beats united.............again...........Started watching nascar again geez those guys fight more than rugby players these days :p. And i hope this weekends loss of our cricket boys is not a sighn of things to come. And 5 Days till the boks hit the Irish

Go bokke

Im just still trying to figure out why they made Vettel stop again for that last stop:S

At least He did well, Rosberg must have had a brain fart of some kind or there are unspoken team orders. . . .

But I loved the overtaking that happened on the track

Big congrats to Pakistan for crushing the Aussies in the second test as well (taking the series 2-0) and this by the small matter of 356 runs. Brings a smile to the face and tear to eye, I tell ya.

Yeah i followed that today and man that was epic oz's fall into a downward spiral is continuing on all fronts now i think they hate bryce lawrence by this time :p

And so it's here folks today marks the death of the IRB and the birth of the new IRB Rugby World

http://www.worldrugby.org/

http://www.worldrugby.org/news/37400

I must say i actually like the logo but this just sounds ridiculous "IRB Rubgy World World Cup"
Or is it jsut going to be IRB rugby World Cup when that starts? Cos i see under tournaments it still says
Rugby World Cup 2014 with the old IRB logo

So it's been made official Japan and Argentina are in the super rugby from 2016 deals were signed today

And in other news Vettel has signed his new contract too with Ferrari and Alonso will race in a special departure helmet this weekend to say farewell http://www.supersport.com/motorsport/formula1/news/141120/Ferrari_goes_to_Ferraris_head

And seems kimi is keen on racing with Seb. wonder who will be No.1 driver
http://www.supersport.com/motorsport/formula1/news/141120/Kimi_sees_fun_times_ahead_with_Vettel

And for those following the MotoGP Marco Melandri is back next year with also returning brand Aprilia
Now if they could jsut add the new Kawasaki H2R to MotoGP we can see the honda's dethroned along with Marques

Other F1 news (read: rumours) is that Button seems to be calling it a day (or can't get another ride). https://twitter.com/JensonButton/status/535458820169166848 shows his driver's room for the weekend, decorated by his physio and the BBC, with photo's from across his career. (via reddit) It's too bad, he's one of my favourite drivers, and was still consistently good in a poor car this year.

Yeah this race is his swansong at least he can say what few drivers that have retired can't "i've been World Champion"
I also like him his the one Britt without an attitude :p

Last weekend for some rugby action.
Between Aus and Eng I don't really care who wins, but I almost feel for England and I don't like Australia all that much, so hoping England takes it.
Springsboks should be able to win against Wales, however seeing how they did against NZ, we might have a tough time. If Wales collapse again in the last 10 - 15mins as they did against NZ, we should be able to win it.

5th on the MyG Superbru, hope I can atleast stay there after the weekend :D

I think I will refrain from stating my mind on the events that took place this weekend at the F1 finale. . . .

I am sad to say that I am loosing what little faith I had in the sport. As it is next year, for the first time since Vettel started racing, I will not be such a supporter. I cannot support anyone in a Ferrari, not even Kimi. So looking at the roster of new people, I suspect I will be supporting Botta's, Vergne and Kvyat. I might even support smiley aka Ricciardo. . . .Altho with Newey gone from the sport, Mr E and Mr M running the sport and these stupid V6 turbo crap engines, that they never run past 16 000 rpm, to conserve fuel. . . . That still sounds like freaken lawnmowers. . . . .

I think Im actually extremely sad, I dont want to give up on a sport I have followed and loved since I was 4, but F1 today is nothing compared to what it was back then, or even 5 years ago...

Wayvz F1 now is a joke and with them killing the smaller teams it's not helping the sport either. I'll go for smiley too i think seeing as with his helmet designs he reminds me of Rossi

The rugby i's at least not missing this weekend. But i'll back my theory that we have started the all blacks fall from grace may it be slow but we have started it i think.

Missed a few pics on the bru due to work so i'm not a threat but i'll be back strong as ever next year so watch out then boys

I'm supporting RIC, KVY and BOT next year. I do hope BUT gets a drive, he surely deserves one, and proved it again(!) over the weekend. The way McLaren is treating their drivers, though, I really hope he gets to drive somewhere else, and if I were ALO, I'd be apprehensive.

I think that you can't talk about BUT being up in the air without looking at the reason behind it: suddenly there are 4 less spots to drive in next year.. The FIA keeps going on about cost cutting and even allowing 24 drivers on the grid (which I would love to see), but the way they keep screwing over the small teams is ridiculous. They're killing the sport from the inside.

I disagree on two point, though: 1) I don't mind the engines. B) I'm definitely going to keep watching!
