Thanks for the Kits AT!

Bulls Kit is really awesome! Very clever to wrap the bull around like that! Best has to be the Chiefs tho, in my opinion...

Here's the teams for tonight's game between Toulon and the Sharks:

Toulon: 15 Juan Martin Hernández, 14 Josua Tuisova, 13 Bryan Habana, 12 Jimmy Yobo, 11 David Smith, 10 Nicolás Sanchez, 9 Michael Claassens, 7 Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe, 8 Chris Masoe, 6 Gerhard Vosloo, 5 Jocelino Suta, 4 Ali Williams, 3 Carl Hayman, 2 Jean-Charles Orioli, 1 Xavier Chiocci.
Replacements - from: Matias Cortese, Florian Fresia, Corentin Braendlin, Steffon Armitage, Virgile Bruni, Ulupano Seuteni, Eric Escande, Karim Bougherara, Andy Cramond, Stéphane Munoz.

Sharks: 15 SP Marais, 14 Sibusiso Sithole, 13 Waylon Murray, 12 Heimar Williams, 11 Lwazi Mvovo, 10 Pat Lambie, 9 Cobus Reinach, 8 Lubabalo Mtembu, 7 Renaldo Bothma, 6 Marcell Coetzee, 5 Pieter-Steph du Toit, 4 Mouritz Botha, 3 Matt Stevens, 2 Bismarck du Plessis (captain), 1 Tendai Mtawarira.
Replacements - from: Kyle Cooper, Dale Chadwick, Lourens Adriaanse, Monde Hadebe, Marco Wentzel, Etienne Oosthuizen, Andre Esterhuizen, Paul Perez, Odwa Ndungane, Conrad Hoffmann, Fred Zeilinga.

Unfortunately it looks like Toulon won't be fielding many of their best players. I mean Habana is playing at centre.

The game will be televised tonight at 10.

I counted 9 current & former internationals in that side. Toulon aren't gonna mess around with this and I'm John Smit would've asked them to field a pretty strong side. Otherwise, what's the use of flying to Europe and playing a warm-up game against a bunch of palookas? Should be a pretty kiff game to watch, even with the starting time being 10pm.

I really hope I don't get load shedded tonight as I really want to watch this game. I hope my Sharks can show a strong performance like the Bulls did the other night.

Very Decent side from Toulon, Will be interesting to see how the Sharks approach the game, mainly because the play styles are so different Northern vs Southern Hemisphere...

Keen to see Habana play as well :D

It's a pity that Toulon won't field a full strength team for the match, but i don't think any team that far in their season would.
At least it is some game time for their 2nd stringers, but they still have a bunch of big names.

So the 6 nations begins tonight :D and the sharks had a very ugly win against Toulon which from what i heard they should have received 4 yellow cards during the game but had a very lenient ref. and Toulon opted to go for a try rather than 3 points 4 times in the game

Well well done i guess sharks :p

Both teams did get penalized quite heavily in the game. I don't think the ref really got a hold of the game. There were some good aspects from the Sharks gameplay, seeing as it was their very first proper game for the season. Hopefully they can build on this. Toulon came with everything to win the game, but the Sharks managed to hang on for the win. So I'm happy that the SA teams did so well in Europe. Hopefully they can continue their winning ways in the Super 15

Anyone see the warm up game against Sri Lanka?

Good to see De Kock finding some form... Decent 5 wicket win against them :D

Yeah I'm glad we won and I'm glad De Kock showed some form and got some runs, but 2 things are bugging me from the performance...our bowling could not contain them too much, and they scored too many runs from us. Then our middle order didn't show up again, and Faf continues to struggle with form. He hasn't scored runs in a very long time, and if he is not ready Riley should rather replace him. But it's good to start the comp with a win under the belt

Have to agree with you, The bowling seems like it was a very good batting pitch though... But our middle order has always been a concern... And there is little to no chance of Faf not playing... Riley coming in late seemed to create a bit more stability in the middle order though... And thats saying a lot...

We got quite a good thrashing from NZ in our warmup game before the CWC starts. I hope this was just a stumble and acts as a wake up call to the guys.

It was not our full strength team, but it was close enough and not really an excuse. From NZ all the batsman contributed and that is why they ended up with a nice score, while the SA side only 3 or so contributed really.

Ya i must admit I was very surprised to hear we were at like 60 for 6... That completely unacceptable... Especially against a team like New Zealand...

I hope this is just a stumble along the road... Would far rather it happen now than in the tournament... We didnt even see out our 50 overs which is seriously disappointing... Also Zimbabwe beating Sri Lanka :wtf:

Yeah. And then just a few days ago we wipped Sri Lanka in the lowered overs warmup, and according to me Sri Lanka are one of the better teams in the tournament.

Didn't even see they lost to Zim. Did SL also play with a bunch of the reserves in the team perhaps?

Surprisingly they played pretty much their best team... They posted 280 odd which is not a bad total...

I think what we might be forgetting is that New Zealand are basically on home turf... The conditions are very similar for them if im not mistaken?

Wow, that is quite a performance for Zim.
I have no idea if the turf conditions are the same for them.

Look im just assuming because they are so close together i cant imagine the conditions can vary that much... The Aussie conditions are usually pretty close to what we get so we should also be pretty happy in that regard...
