People are saying it causes the game to crash...
I so want this...so so so bad but I am leaving it till January when hopefully the major stuff is sorted and the price has dropped a little bit.

I'll get back to you on that, I only checked my fleet and ran. Download was slow

Haven't had any crashes after installing the patch. Seemed to be a multiplayer patch, so I don't think it affected the single player that much. The only technical issues I've had is the odd occasion that all the textures would go all haywire. A quick restart of the game would fix that, and it only happened like 3 times in my 20 hours or so of gameplay.

MP patch ey? Maybe it will actually work now :rolleyes:
I haven't been able to access MP since I got the game.
 
My UPlay is broheim14, please add me guys.
I've had this game since launch and haven't had a chance to get into it as much as I'd want to because of work.
I'm almost on leave now and plan to spend all my free time with it.
 
So, I've finished the single player now, and thoroughly enjoyable it was too.

Kind of sad considering half the AC Initiates stuff isn't working as it's in alpha testing. I need to collect all the chests and fragments, and complete some of the story missions at 100%, but it seems like a lot of admin.

One slightly annoying thing is having mostly completed the game I finally got my hands on the Templar and Aztec/precursor armour, but have no more missions to enjoy it with. I wish there was a "new game+" mode.

Anyway, I anticipate I'll be getting stuck into the multiplayer now, and maybe after a few weeks of that I'll be excited to go sailing the seas for collectibles.

Anyone want to bring their face over here for a good stabbing?

Going to check if the update fixed my crashing issue.

Seems as if the first DLC is coming 17 December called Freedom Cry. Here is the link to the article

Lol, I already bought the season pass on PS3 the day I got the game. Can't wait for Freedom Cry! I doubt I'll get the season pass on PC again though.

Definitely down for some Mygaming face-stabbing, when I'm not working that is.
 
SON... OF... A... BITCH.... so after I updated the game and tried to play now, it doesn't want to boot into the single player!! I just get a back screen.
 
Mine's also working fine. I must have played about 4 - 6 hours yesterday after the update with no issues at all.
 
I'm on the Raise the Black Flag stage - Collect 70 metal cargo (yes I know I'm far behind - I blame Havana and all it's stuff to find)

Do you have to take down the lvl 18 Brig or is there anything smaller? :p
