Wow ek het gisteraand lekker gecamp. In metro (lyk soos n lang gang) gele en 10 kills op 1 plek gekry. Dit was frikken awesoem!!!

Yes, but...i know exactly when to hit those flares

i'll let you guys in on a little secret, the closer you are to the heli/jet with stingers the better your chance of hitting them, if youre quite close, flares don't seem to work

Please ppl dont be hating on the choppers, i know uncle Jack wants payback on me because i "wasp" the tanks

PS i absolutely loving doing it to Xero, cause he always starts driving away in his tank :D

hmmm reminds me of that time when xero was trying to check who was capturing his flag ... came forward in his tank and got a rocket, then backed away ... came forward blasting away and didnt know were i was and got another rocket ... LOL ... ended up in us killing each other because i didnt know a disabled tank can still shoot ... things you learn when you jump straight into MP once the game is installed

I have to say that friends list in Battlelog sometimes shows people online but not playing and then I encounter them on servers... MMM. Pondering the use of the RAZOR patch...
 
@Jaco no jets in BC2 as far as I know, so that feat was definitely something :D

@to0kz you sure it wasn't just a stinger guy on the ground that was locking on to you?

reading all the differences I must say, the quality of players we all seem to play against, differs a hell of a lot.
when I use my AA, it takes ages to lock on meaning the jet most likely has one of those unlocks to prevent the lock-on for longer.
yet some people seem to be able to lock>fire>kill which means you must have been targeting a newb pilot.

also the thing about flaring that annoys me is, I would lock onto a jet and fire 1 missile and watch it flare to avoid and then I would work on getting lock again. then by the time I get a 2nd lock, the 2nd missile also won't work because flares already charged.

not to mention trying to get a lock on guys flying low and that is almost always my case with jets.
 
YEP, meant shot down choppers with a tank.

Flying low in the jets is a saving grace against SAMs. Operation Firestorm & Kharg Island have a few mountains that can get between me and the SAM site.

No dude, once I got so gatvol I let him kill me to see where he was. He was right by his base. Man I was pissed haha. That was the day I changed my strategy with the jets and I don't use flares anymore. There are other ways to dodge stinger. You just gotta pull some loops and stuff so the rockets can't keep up with you. But it's still a BITCH when you're on a jets tail and all you can hear is bee beee beeee beeeee beeeep beeeee beeeePP! -_-

Also, you can't almost immediately tell if someone is a noob pilot by watching his flare use. I must say I don't use the heatseekers in the jets anymore either. It's much easier to shoot choppers and jets, well, any vehicles with the vulcan cannon. Please you can't use flares against the cannon. Ask Buzz :D


@weakest: LOL dude, had an epic fail moment against you last night. I shot you with my scar, ran out of bullets and as I whipped out my pistol and started firing, I noticed it was the G18 auto and it recoils so bad at range I missed every bullet. Then you dropped me. Haha

i can vouch

He shoots me down many times when im in the Heli or ON FOOT
but Tooks has come to accept that i am now a better Heli pilot than him, tho in jets he'll smoke me one handed :D
I do believe tooks will return to his true calling as a chopper pilot! \:D/

Lol bru, I will fly in the choppers again when they fix the game. This chopper tilting AA gun is just not cricket. It's like throwing a steel ball at a batsman. I'm not participating. And don't forget who shot you down twice while in a chopper again last night. :)

as for the choppers vs choppers, i know you HATE facing me :D
 
Flying the chopper is my favourite. I spend most of my time as a chopper pilot, I'm not too bad, but I'd probably get powned by Tooks or Buzz.
 
Saterday night me and a bud played a few games.
I HATE rush on Kharg Island as defenders, especially with AnthraxZa on attacking team, I'll never forget his name.
He just used chopper whole match. score:77/1. And that one kill was by me taking him down in a jet, otherwise would have had 0 deaths lol, he WAS the other team :(
