BF vs COD {Need opinions}

Dont get Ghosts unless someone gives it to you. MP is bad...and like BO2 and MW3 it wont improve with or without competitive play.
 
Okay here is my personal opinion from playing both titles since their inception, I'll keep this short because A) It's my birthday and I want to B) play some BF4 damnit!

Battlefield: If you like large scale gameplay with up to 63 players, driving various vehicles and destructible environments.

Call of Duty: If you like a smaller scale maps, with much more intense action, run and gun as well as twitch shooting.

Both have a learning curve of sorts, I would think COD is less forgiving with it having a different gun mechanism system to battlefield. Call of Duty, I mostly played S&D (Basically like Counter Strike) and TDM.Battlefield you don't have to engage in combat at all, sometimes it's even expected of you to rather leave on person going by and stay at A to defend it than it is to kill him and give away your position.

Personally Battlefield offers so much more content, I also LOVE the fact the being a passenger in vehicles now gives you unlocks too if you do damage and kills assists, instead of you having to risk dying because you are a sucky pilot.

Tried Ghosts on the PS3, it feels like it's a copi pasta of MW3.

I'd actually say get ghosts if your on console,its just bf4 is for a bit longer sessions,and ghosts-cod in general is more like I have 15 minutes to burn lets go play video games.

But personally I prefer bf4 no contest really.
 
Started playing ghosts last night and i prefer BF4 to it has a better story than CoDg and the game play feels kinda plastic if anyone knows what i mean.

i'm on 1080p and it just doesn't look the same as BF4

From a girls perspective i have to say i have found COD a lot easier than BF4. Battlefield is a lot more technical and realistic with gun recoil etc for me and as some of you have said COD is more of a run and gun, i have time to kill kinda game. i will however be getting COD at the end of the month once my exams are over...as i have owned practically all the COD games that have been released.

i have to say however that Ghosts looks very good from what i have seen when the Boyfriend plays it.

On what platform? Runs like a dog /pun intended / on PC. BF4 runs smooth as silk.

Hey the patched fixed the performance issues.
I now get 40fps instead of 20.

Also, the graphic glitches have been taken care of. They now fill the WHOLE screen.

All drivers up to date duder. First thing I checked when Riley showed up looking like a muffin with a tongue. Seriously it was like watching a storm cloud floating around.
Got a GTX660ti, more than enough RAM, i5 3570, Windows 8 - so I dunno.
The games cool when it works though :P

ROFL Muffin with a tongue!! hahahah... ja dude, on some maps im still getting performance issues as well, but others are good
