Yeah none of those headphones will have volume control.
But - they are going to serve you far better than most other headphones in its price range.
I look forward to using what I get - for as long as possible.

I prefer Over-The-Ear. Blocks out unwanted sounds (environmental sounds). Also, On-The-Ear headphones hurts my ears, and hurts them considerably more, as I wear glasses.I've got a pair of HD 202's, bought them for practicing guitar late at night about a decade a go. Yes, a decade. I've abused mine, so the on cup distorts a little bit at very high volumes, but i'm talking 100W guitar amp volumes, nothing a computer will produce easily.
It's a great, comfortable set, just make sure you're okay with over ear cups, these things tend to form a low pressure area which sucks onto your ear, and that hurts my relatively sensitive ears after four or five hours of use.
Way out of my "can afford" range. Was willing to spend nothing over R500, and got what I wanted. If its purely for gaming and hard music I would recommend Razer Tiamat 2.2's They cost around R1100.
I hate Razer but I really like this headset, for gaming they are damn good, also good for music if your into drum and bass or and hard dance music. Def has the best bass of any headset in the price bracket.
No, the suction doesn't effect the sound at all.
I found that it only happened after long sessions with them on.
A friend of mine has been using them for 4 years and still swears by them so I got mine yesterday. I love the sound and the strong bass

You mentioned a "suction", this doesn't dampen the sound or give a muddy effect, does it?

Coolermaster Storm Sirus - Best Headset I've ever owned.
Ah man that's such a pity to hear.
Do you feel anything vibrating inside the cups? Could actually be a loose component inside the driver.
Had a quick glance and can't see or hear anything out of place. I actually think it might be the connector that connects the mixer and the headset together. Seeing as i tried almost everything including a bit of wiggling [legitimate technical term], the sound still won't go away.
Test the set on another PC, might actually be your Sound Card. If it is indeed the set, just swap it out - Also use the dial and USB options rather than the jack's. I know, I know... Just trust me the software and the processor are incredible! Or did you get the Sirus S?
Well now he can actually get a decent headset, Logitech G430.![]()

Would like to know if there are any headsets with one jack for mic and headphones similar to cellphone earphones since my laptop has only got one jack for both.
