It does start slowly. And it gets creepier every single issue. I love that book because of the pure creepiness of it.

mmm... Is it ok to suggest i get incredibly bored? Will this change soon? Coz from what you say it sounds awesome...
Yeah more than okay. I can't always have awesome recommendations for everyone [emoji1] many won't like the stuff I recommend, like Morrison's Doom Patrol.

Tim Seely might not be your thing. That book creeped me the fuck out. I got the second volume just the other day, planning to read it soon.
I'm going to have check out Revival, sounds pretty interesting.
Yeah man. Really well written.

Ja dude, I am with Avenged all the way with Revival. It's such a well thought-out, original story. I am really enjoying it. Definitely check it out.

It does start out slowly, but I can't really say that the pace really increases. I guess it might not be for everyone. I just liked the writing and the originality of the idea.

Ok so im up to date with the Mortal Kombat Comics, and I actually really enjoyed them! I thought it was a bit strange at first the way its done, like they go in sets of 3 that technically make up 1 issue... I thought it was terrible that they use 1 cover per 3 issues, but it made sense when i looked into it... Im now finished book 9 which ends off issue 3, there are only 18 books so we half way at the moment... But wow some hectic things seem to be going down in the MK Universe! Any one else thats read them hows that scene with Goro

Haven't read them yet. Digital exclusive comics normally release in smaller iterations that make up an issue, like Batman '66 and Injustice. I like it, but I would much rather have one big issue in front of me.

They cheap, works about to about the normal R30 for an "Issue" at like R10 a book... It also means the wait is not so long i suppose...

That's exactly it. It also ensures a constant revenue stream. The nice thing is that they normally come to print collected into a single issue.

Saga... Just... Saga... It's so good. It's one of the most immersive and compelling comics I've read in a long while . It's story is so raw that each good, bad, and ugly thing that happens really has an impact on you.

I'm going to start reading volume 3 soon, I love this book. AND THE ART!

I'm glad that you're getting into this, not many people I know do. But the comic book community in general loves this book.

The art has no shackles, and I love it! Fiona Staples is certainly some serious talent. I'm almost done with volume 3, I might get volume 4 next month. Thanks for getting into me into this :D

Yeah no worries. I love this stuff. I re-read everything before I start a new volume of Saga, because it is too good to wing it.

Also, I'm now at issue two of Jason Aaron and Jason Latour's Southern Bastards. HOLY SHIT this is good.

OMG!!! THE LATEST WALKING DEAD COVERS CAME OUT TODAY AND HOLY SHIT!!!

There hasnt been this kind of uncertainty in the comic in AGES!!! From an excitement point of view its been so action packed! but the next 4 or 5 issues are going to be CRAAAAZY!!! :D

I've finished the first arc of Southern Bastards. This book is amazing.

I've also started reading Trees by Warren Ellis. Interesting concept.

I like Warren Ellis' stuff. Trees should be good. I just know nothing about it.

I finished reading V for Vendetta (finally). It's definitely better than the film, and I really enjoyed the film. If I had to recommend an order in which to consume the media, I would say read it first, then watch the film. It seems to be more poignant in comic-book form for some reason. The film is still worth a watch though.

I also finished some more Flashpoint stuff - the Green Lantern book. I quite enjoyed it and I was told that it wasn't that good. I'd recommend it as well, just as I have recommended the other Flashpoint books. I think it's a really good event. Read it if you haven't yet.

The Flash comics are so much fun :). I'm having a good time with them, and I'm reading some Green Lantern as well. TheAvenged87, Francis Manapul is the man
