Comic Books

Superman Birthright may just be one of the few Superman comics that appreciates Clark Kent as much as it does the Man of Steel. I'm really loving it.
 
Cosmic comics is having a sale today (open 9am to 7pm). Basically buy 1 get 1 free on all porcelain statues, and selected trades 5 for R450.

Might be popping in myself a bit later if traffic allows it.

Thanks, interesting read. No idea what type of bags I have though, and my comics have been in those for years (ones I got when buying them from Cosmic).

Ja wat. Just discovered that Cosmic missed my Wolverine and the X-Men #39. We're at 42 right now (which is the run's final issue). This means that my run is incomplete without that issue. They're going to order it for me now.

Yeah, that's something on my to-read list. I own the first two trades digitally, just haven't gotten around to moving onto three yet.
 
Just finished reading the first issue of the newly rebooted Tomb Raider comic series by Dark Horse. Continues on the new game's storyline and supposedly the 12 issue series will lead into the sequel. The art is kinda meh and the comic very short but I like where the story seems to be going.

Shit, written by Gail Simone. She's great when writing strong female characters like Batgirl and Red Sonja. Don't know the artist though.
