Cricket Thread - not the bugs but the buggers playing it :)

I am getting quite excited about the upcoming test series against the Aussie's we have to start well.Going to be weird not having Kallis in the team I wonder how that is gonna affect us.

Im also chomping at the bit! Cant wait for it to start! Heard on the radio they asked Haddin if he was going to miss playing against Kallis from a competitive point of view, and he was like, No... Why would anyone miss playing AGAINST Kallis :D Lol...

Tomorrow is gona be awesome! Im keen to see how our batsmen hold up against Johnson... He's a real threat on our wickets... He's a threat on most wickets, but ours are quite similar to the Aussie wickets that he's used to...

Also much of excite to see Steyn and the Vern Back in action :D Demolishing line ups as they go! :love:
 
Yea tomorrow is gonna be sweet, we have a big screen in the office which we always put the Cricket on, makes the days go pretty quickly.

Ja Johnson is a real threat hopefully he pulls his hammy on his first run up lol.
 
73/3 after 24 overs... about 10 mins to go before lunch, things looking quite good.

Keeping an eye on the test and the IPL auction, so many good players going unsold and crazy money going for some slightly strange choices (Yuvraj Singh and Dinesh Karthik)... Kallis, de Kock, Duminy, du Plessis, both Morkels are the SA players that have been bought so far apart from the ones retained by their franchise (Steyn, Abdv, Miller)
 
Really good start now we need to keep up the pressure after lunch.Ryan was unlucky he could have 2 wickets,he bowled really well.
 
So stoked after the first session. Seems the Aussies will have to put on their big boy pant if they want to play with us.

We stand on the verge of something great with this test. the Aussies has an unbeaten run of tests here in SA for 20 odd years now. We have not yet been able to beat them in a test series on home soil. I hope the team can take this first session and build from here to change the history books
 
I see Kallis got auctioned for 900 000 dollars that's 10 million rand and this is the seventh IPL.I wonder how much money he has made all together from the IPL.
