Day Z: The ULTIMATE Zombie mod / game.

This game looks sooo epic! I keep watching YouTube videos and reading stories of what people do in game. I just wish I had ADSL to download and play this thing.

Ah well. Someday I'll have ADSL and DAYZ.... :cool:

this game is epic as hell!... and on a side note: YOU WILL EFFING DIIIIIIIIIEEEEE!!!!!! A LOT!!
my top tip for any newbies... unless you are playing with real life friends, trust NO ONE! more often than not you will find death at the hands of another player. there are a few gems on the server and i <3 them but they are very few and far between.

I've had this game for ages and been waiting to get a decent PC to run it. Well thats sorted now I just need operration arrowhead.
 
We've been running a NAG server for a while now. Not sure how many people from this forum specifically plays it, but we've got a local playerbase of around 30-50 regulars.

We are recruiting. Basically, we're a group of gentlemanly bandits. We've got a basecamp somewhere on the server where you can stash your stuff, and we are planning on doing frequent raids on the areas with the better loot, like the NW airfield. Requirements for joining is that you shouldn't flinch away from shooting other survivors if their presence endangers the group and/or camp. :P
 
The game sounds amazing but I dislike ARMA 2 waiting on the steam summer sale hopefully it will be on special then. Fingers crossed

This mod looks like it'll be lots of fun, from all the vids I've seen so far...

Big open (non-linear) map with zombie and other potential enemies coming at you trying to claim your life and/or your goods.

Just that lag... Major downer.
 
Wow after a shaky first day of dying over and over again I've finally gotten a character to 3 days :D woot! This game is too epic, so worth it. I even met and teamed up with a total random, I also got shot by a total random on my first day. Graal we must converse some time about the ungentlemanly things that are going on ;)
