Dota 2

Played a few more games last night. Getting used to it. Feeling more and more like Dota on steroids. Its just like with any game... You need to spend time with it to get used to it and comfy

Excuse the Epic revive (not necro :p), although I blame the vets for not discussing the game.

Anyway, I started playing the game last night against Bots, and I'm convinced that I'm going to have loads of fun with this game once I get better (I'm seriously terrible at the moment:o, okay, just above terrible :p).

I really like the tutorial they put in the game for 1st timers, it's a nice touch and it helps noobs like myself with the basics. I'm currently experimenting to see which ranged heroes I might be able to get the most out of, then there's their roles to consider...

Now discuss the bloody game :p!

lol go and watch some you tube vids on laning, items etc. Purge have a few ones out there explaining the basics. Like these:

I've heard of laning and different phases in the game. Definitely something I should look out for, last night I actually watched Sky playing a game... I really like the spectator options in this game.

yeah just watch as many as you can it will at least give you an idea of the game. I have played around 300 games on 2 accounts and still struggle this game is hard.....

The game is hard to get into but once your in you never get out lol :D stopped playing for a while but seeing that we have local servers now I will get back into it
 
Just played a few games on the SA server, its awesome! Low latency, nice competitive people, and no Russians! Hoorah! Once again hail MWEB!

Edit : the russian gamers have officially invaded SA servers...
