I don't think ED-E counts as a companion, you can think of him as Fallout 3's Dogmeat equivalent.

You have to first send the guy back before you can recruit her. AND OMG she hits like a truck. You can have ED-E or RoboDog and only one human companion.
 
OMW the quest are sometimes just messed up.

SO I decide not to kill this one gang for a person and well cool get a nice reward then I want to join another gang since they got nice stuff but but the quest is too kill those persons I did not kill I could have saved me a lot more trouble if I just killed them from the start like I wanted to..

Haha, the intertwined nature of the quests always leaves one hoping that your actions don't bite you in the ass later on. :D

Its very much improved over FO3.

You got your seriously hard creeps to kill just like the dlc in FO3. Also you have a lot more quest to do. The companions are dam strong they don't get stuck too often(just wish they could jump)
The shotguns feels underpowered again. Hope to buy the riot shotgun soon 7000 caps :)
There are a few new creeps but not a lot.

Armor has been improved to do something actually this time.

Dude, just play some Caravan with the NPCs, I kick their @sses in that game! Get's you lots of caps lol. But you're probably in Vegas already so why don't you just go gamble?!

I just don't get that caravan game :s

Its okay even without gambling I got 20000 caps and about 1000 other types of money.

Where do I get that? And other weapon mods for that matter. I haven't really found a lot of them, just a scope for my magnum so far.

Also, where do you find the companions you guys are talking about.? I have been all over the wasteland, but I haven't found anyone that can join me yet, maybe I haven't been talking to the right people. I did get Rex, but he died the first time I went out into the wasteland so I just loaded up an old save where I didn't have him yet.

Are the companions helpful at all? I don't wanna get one and then have to constantly heal them, healing myself is enough of a problem already on hardcore mode. My limbs get damaged the whole time and then I have to travel to a doctor to get them healed constantly.

I play on normal, well the one guy is in a town right at the start primm. the trader chick is at the road going towards left bottom. The brotherhood chick is 188 trading post and the other dude is on black mountain.

MrLabTechnician Seach for this mod for the water filling one.

Any of you guys go for the main story missions yet? I got a bit bored with just walking around looking for more quests tonight so I went to Vegas and did some story missions. Some pretty tough decisions to make. Reloaded the same save like 5 or 6 times because I keep changing my mind. :p

My 2 characters. Love my Red pidboy want to get the pitgirl soon just waiting for it to be bug free. (changes the boy in the display to a girl) Awesome hair :)
