/huge sigh of relief
So pleased to hear this.

Yup, that's the insinuation I wanted to make, well spotted. Although, not precisely though. It's definitely holding the advancement back. It doesn't seem like this game will bring anything new to Far Cry. At least they got rid of the super bad shooting mechanics and terrible ragdolls from Far Cry 2, but this really just looks a bit too bland.
Yes, but then again, how many games are made specifically for PC nowadays?
If I had to list them they would be...hmm....
BF3.
And Witcher 2. But that's about the only ones I can think about! Even one of my favourite games ever is a console port. BFBC2. :/
No my friend morons are holding back advancement, advancement doesn't sell. More of the same, that sells. MW3? Idiot gamers who buy any piece of shit coz it looks pretty, they are holding advancement back.
Publishers want to make money, they are not going to risk millions of dollars on a project gamble when they can just release more of the same for the Legion to eagerly gobble up & so be assured of a good return.
Like Murph said same old sad song. We've been through this, its a numbers game; there are simply more people who play on console than pc. And developing it separably for each platform isn't viable.
God you guyz can whine about Bullshit. Rather than go "awesome another game to look forward to" its just "my poor pc isn't getting the love it deserves."
Fucking whiny gamers worse than trolls.
That's it bru, repress the developers like DICE that actually push the limits. Way to go! Plus, a fussy guy like you shouldn't really be making comments like that.
At least my mind is open enough to see when real quality is on display instead of going googly eyed over DNF or something other tripe.
Before you call a man fussy, go look at his library.
Who said I might even buy DNF? I'm going to wait a long time after the reviews before I decide, besides, it's not wrong to get excited and not buy it, instead of buying it before getting excited.
So, basically, what you're saying to me is that you can tell from that preview that this game is going to be a piece of mastery, oh glory personified, yet, at the same time, when I make my own judgments, according to my own opinion, which I clearly stated was my own, you call me closed minded? Lol. Fabulous!
How about, before judging a man, look at his tastes. My opinion- whether you like it or not, it's still mine. The fact is, as boring as the subject might be, consoles are holding back innovation and thank God for developers like DICE who actually thought "Hey, why the fuck don't we not start using DX11 and the immense range of new features it brings?!" Maybe even make the games look a thousand times better while incorporating new gameplay ideas and pioneering a new age for video games? Why the hell not?
Even Brink looked more fun and exciting than this has so far, and we all know how that turned out! So I'm definitely not holding thumbs for this game.
Start an argument and then just walk away. I get it.
Nope this isn't the place for this argument, plus we've had this argument before. Definition of insanity son, attempting the same thing and expecting a different result. So I'm bowing out before I get the urge to start calling people morons again.
PS
the definition of insanity isnt actually as OmegaFox wrote
go read the dictionary...
thats not what insanity means
SourceInsanity, craziness or madness is a spectrum of behaviors characterized by certain abnormal mental or behavioral patterns. Insanity may manifest as violations of societal norms, including becoming a danger to themselves and others, though not all such acts are considered insanity. In modern usage insanity is most commonly encountered as an informal unscientific term denoting mental instability, or in the narrow legal context of the insanity defense. In the medical profession the term is now avoided in favor of diagnoses of specific mental illness such as schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.[1] When discussing mental illness in general terms, "psychopathology" is considered a preferred descriptor.[2]
In English, the word "sane" derives from the Latin adjective sanus meaning "healthy". The phrase "mens sana in corpore sano" is often translated to mean a "healthy mind in a healthy body". From this perspective, insanity can be considered as poor health of the mind, not necessarily of the brain as an organ (although that can affect mental health), but rather refers to defective function of mental processes such as reasoning. A Latin phrase for "sane" is "compos mentis" (lit. "of composed mind"), and a euphemistic term for insanity is "non compos mentis". In law, mens rea means having had criminal intent, or a guilty mind, when the act (actus reus) was committed.

But consoles are limiting games in a large way. Better technology exists, to make games look better and even play better. Adding more dynamics. Destructible environments. Better shadows that kind of thing that can enhance different genres. But because consoles have a fixed hardware setup for 4-5 years or however long they last before a new one comes along, games eventually reach their zenith.
I'm glad so many console players enjoy playing the same thing over and over. And yes, I'm a console owner myself and love certain games on it, but I can clearly see where things would and do look and play better on PC. And I don't mean a keyboard & mouse vs a controller.
Why can DICE do BF3 as a PC based development and still make tons of cash and then port that to console and make even more cash, but other developers can't?

Actually, moron, that was a reference to the video. Since in it (the video) a charter spouts that as the definition of insanity multiple times. Personally I am more inclined to thinking that doing the exact same thing, like for example having the same exact argument, and expecting a different result is the definition of STUPIDITY. Which is why I have decided not to have this argument with Tooken, or anybody else for that matter, again.

I am well aware than insanity is actually defined as:

The exact origins of said quote is actually from the mouth of One Albert Einstein.

Logically, there is one thing you're doing right here. Calling people idiots or morons is always the easy way out.
Even so
1st off, play nice, you the first person i ahve come across in this forum with a bad attitude, maybe youre just having a kak day....
Whilst i do understand the perhaps your were reffering to the quote from the game which i did watch, you came across as quoting the text as if it were indeed a correct definition, quoting it to Rambo seemed so atleast
But hey, just relax there, this is a debate and if you want to debate then make sure you dont call people names
peace
Already this "debate" is following the exact same lines as all the countless others out there.
