IDD. Fell asleep while watching GTA V trailer.

FFXIV is indeed a traditional MMO. Unlike some ... recent ... non-linear MMOs, you don't gain a level every time you break wind — progress may indeed start to feel laborious as your near the level cap. I am, however, extremely happy with the difficulty of the dungeons. 'Tis a good gauge of how difficult raids will be.

Im enjoying the game thoroughly atm....and its been a while since I got so taken by an MMO. I think the worst part is trying to get grps for the more difficult parts of the storyline or decent grps for dungeons. However this is an old MMO problem. I think another thing is also DC has been focusing on the crafting while leveling...which in my opinion is a real drag! but i never have been a big fan of crafting / gathering :D

I decided to reach end game before bothering too much about crafting /gathering....and am really enjoying end game content. Just waiting for rest of guildies to all come to same level...peeps are catching up really fast now...soon we will be running full guild grps for all HM's...we had a few good runs at Ifrit last night...and I can see people are getting better and better. Just the syncing is a problem for some. I have been running pugs whenever I can to get experience on these duties...finally finished Ifrit last night...but damn summoner book dropped :(

However did learn a few new tricks on this trial ;) Just need to try get my relic weapon quest done for Hydra so if I finish ifrit again it counts :)

I cant wait to start the Coils!
 
You're right,i wish i actually leveled with you guys instead of crafting all my gear.

Guess i will try and lvl my main to 50* and then focus on crafting and gathering.

Biggest barrier for relics right now is Titan. Frudi and I decided to rather keep doing some more Garuda runs to try an get the weapon so our DPS is better for heart phase. We really need to get the rest of the guild up there since the TS coordination will help a lot, plus less leavers.

I hit level 15 and am on my way to the first dungeons. Have no idea what game time is required to get their but we are working on it. Will do the first 3 dungeons tonight with my boet and anyone else who wants to join.

Depends how much you play. We hit 50 in about two weeks, but we played a heck of a lot, especially on weekends. 3-4 weeks may be the average.

Im running castrum - I need 34 runs for my gear. I will do runs in between those as well. After last nights fail ifrit for me I will get my gear up first. But I do need a break between the castrum runs and I like helping the new guys :D

We need a list of peoples names in game here, i have no idea who the hell anyone use other than a few of you.
 
@ DC - dude shout if u need help! We all happy to help..the more we have at 50 the better...also if you focus on doing your storyline quest and do any quests it unlocks as you move you level pretty fast.

@Roomys - also give a shout if you need help...i also have a 20 healer and an 18 Arcanist...really need to get arcanist up so I can unlock scholar and summoner at 30. I actually enjoy running lower level dungeons...they really easy and very good XP. With a bit of rested I literally got almost a level per dungeon run. Fetes also good to level fast...

Im also happy to run castrum if needed, I just think atm there are other DPS that need it more than me, so dont wanna waste a spot...but holler if you need!

Isen Im of the same opinion, if I can get ifrit or garuda weapon I will be very happy...however would LOVE to get relic weapon quest up to trials...so when we are lucky enuf to complete...its not wasted and will update quest :) Im stuck at Hydra part now....

My IGN is same as my forum handle ;)

I've read two things regarding this... Firstly, that it won't (people getting error messages) and secondly, that it might (some people reporting success after Square apparently got rid of the NA/EU "differences" after game serials in the NA ended up being EU ones that didn't work--but I don't know if that applies to game time cards).

I, personally, wouldn't risk it though but there's only one way to find out.
