Grand Theft Auto V - PC

Does anyone perhaps know if it's possible to install the game with a friend's discs if I bought the game online from GMG? I got a rockstar code when I bought it, which I assume is the same as the codes in the retail box. I really don't want to wait for 60GB to download.

Kb+m is just much better for GTA, always has been.
Shooting while driving on console was an absolute nightmare where as Kb+m I pretty much head shot everything :D

Yeah you can it asked you to activate the code right at the end.
 
My game has crashed a few times, hope it gets fixed/patched.

My settings in GTA5 (close to full but not quite, may tune it down a bit more)

This is what my CPU and GPU are doing while playing GTA5. My VRAM is full (it's a 970) and the VRAM counter that shows up ingame is not accurate as to how much will be used.

Wooo, played a solid hour of GTA online last night :D

Some personal thoughts on first person mode:
- Feels great with kb+m
- Immersive gun play and vehicle control
- Cover system rendered useless (no corner cheesing)
- Feels like I'm a bobble head when running/fisticuffing
- Roller coaster effect when getting hit by car (this is quite fun)

Eish, online play though - not sure what the radius of chat is, but there were two dudes (or manly sounding ladies) trying to sound gangsta throughout my entire online tutorial. =/
It was rather entertaining at first, hearing two folks diss each other like "I'll pop yo @ss soooon" "Bring it muthafu**a!".
But eventually it got tiresome - decided to turn off voice chat.

Does MyGaming have a crew?
Hopefully yous don't tryna act all gangsta when jamming online :p

Yo dawg! Dat be what I love about dis here GTA first person shit yoh!

It's kinda realistic, doesn't make it look/feel like you're sliding on ice, everything has weight to it.

trying it out now atm but seems not alot is going on this early in the morning.
 
Did try Online a bit last night but got some stutter and lost the first race :/

Will probably finish the story mode first then try again. Can't wait to see what Trevor is up to when i load the game.

Also had the stuttering while doing the first race but got 2de no idea how the other guy came sailing past me and then I just could not catch him again. Also I was laugting my ass off someone was using a controler and he was last place.
 
I'll try the online thing over the weekend. Haven't even spent an hour playing the game yet, just haven't had the time so far

Everyone keeps going on about Trevor, I don't get it. I know he's the rebel and the baddass and deep down everyone wants to be that but I found I was able to relate to Michael more.

Sure, i think most can relate to Michael but i find Trevor hilarious most of the time. It's not really about him being badass or anything.
