But the best thing was ArenaNet's policy to be as open as possible, keeping players updated, responding to some people and bothering to read the issues that was posted on FB, Twitter and Reddit. Also addressing the customer base really helped keep things calm not like other companies who deny issues until it blows up in their faces.

Oh btw 8 file update this morning :P
 
Its AWESOME to see that basically every SA GW2 player is on Aurora Glade. This is going to make for some EPIC WvWvW later on.
For now, its good to play such a beautiful game that has so much to offer. I played about 3 hours during BWE3 and barely scratched the service, intentionally. Now its learning the intricacies.. And are there HEAPS.. WOW. Level 10 (sexy) Norn Thief.

Haven’t joined any guilds yet, waiting to get myself (and all my buds) settled in. Feel free to add me in the meantime though Phatso.2376. I don’t know much yet, but am always willing to help where I can / bother you with questions :D

I'll add you when I'm on again! Just a heads up for people, it looks like people that have added you are listed under followers in the friends dialog, so you can easily add them back if you want to.

Also, according to Reddit, this morning's patch fix the party issues, so a party should all be ported to the same overflow now, and not have any popup issues. Woohoo!
 
I could at lunch but stuck at work so can't say.

Its driving me nuts tho, Ive gotten the Metrica Province 98% explored, I have all the waypoints, views, quests and so forth.
 
Then keep an eye on their twitter or facebook status. They always say when the server goes live.

If itis just a question of struggling to log in, remember people flood the server trying to get in just after an update.

has anyone had an issue where the client opens, says updating, gets to 2kb and then stops? does nothing else after that... asked on twitter for a solution pending reply. Just tried now and its doing the same thing

Dude felt so sorry for you last night, do you still have the prob? Have you tried logging a ticket and checking their forums it should be up again....

BTW Level 30 at last....

Scuse the noob please, but how is the game? Are you guys enjoying it? I am thinking of picking it up today. I played GW1 a lot and enjoyed it. It is still sub free right?

Dude, it's brilliant! And yes there is no sub fee whatsoever, just don't expect GW1 and you'll be fine. :)
