[MyGame] Borderlands 2

I loved both equally, presequel not so much. I played both way to much, 2 more than 1 tho, but that was because had people to play with.

I loved pre-sequel. Not as good as BL2 sure, but still awesome. BL2 is the best in the franchise for sure, but pre-sequel gave us playable Claptrap, Jack and Athena which is awesome.

I think I'll be giving this MyGame a skip. I've never really connected with Snorderlands even though I've played a fair deal of it with friends. Besides, I've got Overwatch now so most of my gaming time will be going into that :D

I am keen to play Psychonauts - since that came 2nd maybe we can do that for the next MyGame?

I'm going to give this one a skip. I've played the Borderlands franchise a few too many times, so I'm well and truly over it. :p

Borderlands 2 has a drop in and out COOP. Anyone used that is it as seemless and easy to use as it sounds?
This looks like it'll be really fun joining games with all you guys.

Just got to set your network status to online/open and can join any game regardless of level. Although the game will recommend that you join a game at the same level as you to make it less of a challenge on higher levels and too easy on lower levels. Although the former can net you some crazy XP if the other player is doing Finks, Murderlins, Moxxxi's and Torque's arenas.
 
I've decided not to try and fit in Borderlands 1 before we start with Borderlands 2. As much as I like to play things in order, I just don't think I've got enough time to finish the first game. Also if I cram in too much of it then there's a chance that I won't enjoy the second one.

So I'll maybe play the first game sometime in the future.

You won't feel lost and overwhelmed story wise in BL2, there are a few echo recordings that highlight the events from 1 and one of the missions tells of a different perspective. The characters also bring in some of the BL1 story into 2 as a refresh of sorts.

I am never a patient man, Steam sale is a long way off (a couple of days I am sure) so I took the plunge! I mean 80% is a good deal!
So just need to download the game and I am ready for our big adventure.

Yeah you don't want to get game fatigue, but you can pretty much jump in to the second one and pick up the backstory AFAIK.
I've only gotten a short way in to BL so I'll probably leave that and come back to it one day.
