It's an SEO thing. Why does no one believe me? ;_;
Why does James always use the "it's an SEO thing" excuse? Can we rectify this?

Links to broken or rubbish websites lowers the SEO rating of the website linking them. Google's crawlers picks this up and will demote the MyGaming website to lower ranks on certain web searches.
Got your back James.....
Hahaha, thanks. However I was just poking some fun at James![]()

Why don't I get a response. That's just SOOOOOO unfair....
/cries in the corner
I'd actually be fascinated to see myGaming's actual traffic stats, although I realise it's not very likely.
Looks like those people just accidentally made a double post but we'll keep an eye out for more problems.
That's a good amount of traffic hey! Damn
Nevermind traffic. That's a lot of lurkers
Well, hello out there! Why don't you register? We all float down here!
Edit: And we have cake![]()
How often are newsletters sent out?
So unique browsers and page views translates into $$$?
Yeah, we won't share stats of detail such as you get in Google Analytics. Effective Measure gives a good overview of websites in SA that offer advertising - lots of publishers of course. That info is available to members of DMMA and advertising agencies and such (and anyone who wants to pay really).
The two stats that generally matter the most are unique browsers and page views. We don't mind telling people our stats; I just can't disclose competitors info (those that are registered with DMMA at any rate):
December 2013 was a surprisingly good month; usually traffic dips around and Xmas and New year but this year it remained solid, a good sign
UB: 43,816
PV: 328,714
I'd love to see the January numbers at the end of the month. It should be interesting to compare with December and see how much the PS4 comp have lifted the UBs and PVs. One could also see if the increased activity on the forums are mostly from new visitors or if it comes more from lurkers that are lured into posting to be eligible for the comp.
