Outposts are fine, I always go for "Undetected" on those (though they don't always work out that way). It's the story missions that I'm referring to, I do not play Rambo style but you're often forced into a gun fight.

Undetected is the way to go for outposts. If you're patient enough, a tiger or a leopard will do most of the work for you.
Yeah, always great when there is an animal to use for your bidding. Problem comes when there are none, but there are two heavies or 6 dogs. Best in this scenario is the C4.

Yeh, I'm quite excited. I read some reviews and a few comments on this thread and it seems legit.
Far Cry 1 was one of my favourite games back in the day, so hopefully this will put FC2 to shame

I remember my first time. That level in HL 1 where you had to get the crossbow in the shark tank. Say no more.

I was almost killed by a Croc in my first 30min of the game,drove my little car off a clif and landed in a river.Got out and a croc grabs me.

Anyway, on topic, to say the game exceeded my expectations is an understatement, and this coming from a guy that hates Far Cry 2 with a passion.
Trust me - you going to have a blast.

OMF! Replayed it again this past weekend and WOW that little bastid scares the shit out of me ( the rest of the game isn't that bad)

Well, sometimes the boats are not parked close to the shore, but a little ways off the coast. It is incredibly creepy swimming towards a boat with the knowledge that there is likely a shark coming straight at you. Even worse when you get onto the boat and see the shark swimming a few meters from where you just got out of the water.
