Official Wasteland 2 thread

Question is - is the game any good? I'm wary of crowd-funded products in general, so unless I don't get good feedback from a local community with similar interests as mine I won't even consider this.

I created my own characters in the usual archetypes: my main (conversationalist hacker who makes friends with animals), the tank (slicey chop-chop wall-breaker), the rogue (sniper lock-picker, safe-cracker and trap detection) and the cleric (surgeon and field medic, armed with a pistol).

So far, so good :D

Went with premade ones since I have not played this type of game in a very long time.
Hex: safecracking computer hacking and perception
Slick smoothtalker
Pills: medic
Cherry bomb: Demo
 
Made my own 4 chars and it's working out pretty well so far. I also recruited Angela Deth, she is one of the original rangers from WL1 so definitely worth picking up if you want somebody with some more HP to tank a bit.

I went with Highpool, you guys?

Plant place Ag Center. Yeah without Angela Deth I would most likely not have survived.

I agree with you, but this isnt by a few guys that had a few beers and decided to make the most awesome sauce game yet. There are a lot of great guys behind this, including guys from the old Black Isle. That's enough for me.

But again, these days, unfortunately, its sometimes better to wait for feedback after a games release.

EDIT: Feel so bummed, tried to play earlier this morning, but had this migraine thing, could only play one mission. Took a handful of pills, went to sleep, better now, just tired, want to play some more now.

Only thing that bugs me is the camera, will just play around with that a bit.
