Path of Exile

Downloaded the game today.. tried it and i don't know if it's just the servers being congested but the game is unplayable the lag is intense, shoot like 50 arrows in a creep and he still have full HP and then boom i die, and i rubberband all over the map.

Anyone else with this latency issues?

I had massive rubberbaning and lagging the last three times I played the beta - was actually waiting for the final release before picking it up again.

Did Omega have lag issues or is it just us saffas?
 
I am loving this game. Got my huge club, and a hood that gives a higher chance for rare items.

Level 5 so far playing as the Templar.
 
Just tested again had like 160ms and game was alot more stable since, guess i just had a bad start when i played earlier :)

I am enjoying this game quite a lot, good skill choices, creative and tactical use of skills, good game.
 
Guys can anyone please tell me, how big is the client download, either from steam or directly from the site? Would you say this is better then something like Torchlight 2, or can you not compare the games?

The game takes up 4321 MB on my drive, so the download is most likely a bit less than that.

If you like Torchlight 2, you're likely to enjoy this game too, as they are both in the same genre. Path of Exile is really unique in the way it handles loot and the skill system, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily better than Torchlight 2, or vice versa.

It's 2.7 gb if downloaded from steam. IMO this is the best game in the isometric action-rpg genre. The combat is great, not as action packed as diablo 3 though, but the gameplay and the game mechanics, as well as the atmosphere are better IMO. What makes the game really, really unique is the customization. There is literally tons of different gear, and the skill tree is just mind-blowing. Plus the game is absolutely free, no pay to win bs (hello EA).

The one downside which annoys me the most is the desync. Even with my 10mbps line I was experiencing a little bit of desync. But if you liked torchlight 2 you should definitely get this game.
 
Played it this weekend, very impressed. I like how there is no gold. The experience tree is awesome. Even how they did abilities is different. Very cool game.

If it helps, I copied my Old game (Last played in June) into my Steam folder and hit the Steam install.

Only needed to download 1.2 gig and was up to date.

You might find that there is people near or around you that have it already, maybe just ask and bring a USB. I know Steam games you normally just copy into folder and hit install to get a game with next to no downloading.
 
Just discovered linking gems together to create stronger attacks :o feel like a noob lol.
