Incredible connection is running special. If you turn in your old screen then you get some discount on a new lcd. So if you trade in old screen you can have a Samsung 27" for +-R2499 can't remember. saw the add yesterday.

I think you can also turn in your crt screens.

The last time they had this promotion you were allowed to bring in CRTs, dunno if it's still that way. Must say that 27" deal isn't bad - saw it this morning.

I dont think its that great, they only knock off about 300/400 bucks

400 bucks isn't a bad discount Rob - still not convinced about that i3 though - I checked your T2 link, says that its "dual core"?
 
Dual-core is a no-no these days.
The perfect current example is Battlefield Bad Company 2 and frame rate on Dual vs Quad. (and probably many a game from this point onwards in gaming history).

In the above graph, the tester used all the same hardware, including the same quad core and just "switched off" two of the cores to make it a Dual-Core.

I still think the dif in performance is cause it's a beta. But we'll have to see until the game comes out proper.

True true, but you can probably get it at that price from cheaper spots cause I know IC are a bunch of rip off artists on some of their kit. I remember I was forced into buying the ATi HD 4670 for R1800 round about August after I took back the other graphics card that was crappy. But that is just my experience.

Crap, I didn't realise this, I was considering getting a i3, only to realise this too was dual core.
