Rant..Nvidia are tards...lol

Point is everyone business wise has to be innovative to stay ahead of the times to make money. In Nvidia's case they got what seems to be most of the brains to outsmart AMD (same can be said for Intel and AMD) but Amd's clever enough to see oppurtunity and fill the market gap at some point where Nvidia doesn't...

Same as Ferrari (Nvidia) sells 10 units and make massive profits cos of their technology and Toyota (AMD) sell 1000 units and also makes profits cos of mass production helping with continuation of the said mass produced items and good after service.

It's all a matter of what you can afford really

I for one would love the bragging rights of owning a Titan Black, maybe even two (cos that's all it will ever come down to) just as any of you out there but because we cant afford it we go with the mass produced an item that we know works well so why bother with top of the range...?

This is not innovation its shameless profiteering. The Titan black is an over priced copy of a 780Ti and that's it, nothing amazing about that. As for comparing Nvidia o Ferrari...Not a good idea bud, because then right now Ferrari aka Nvidia are not selling well, AMD stock can't stay on the shelves, they literally have stock shortages all over the world, The R series cards have been a huge success, Right now Nvidia aren't even in the same league.

Yes the 780Ti is an amazing card, would I buy one again...Hell yes!!
Titan Black is not gonna be amazing...Its gonna cost a fortune for no reason and honestly I wouldn't want to brag that I own a couple of Titan Black cards, because I know people will realize what a gigantic cock I am for buying them. What your pretty much saying is, its ok nvidia rip me off...I just want to brag.

I can afford any card I want, I own and have owned pretty much all the high end cards inc a Titan (Utter waste of money) The 780 was slightly faster than the Titan, it could overclock better, there were non reference cards available for the 780 ect.

I can go on and on and on, but I won't. At the end of the day its your money and you can do with it what you want, all I am saying is if you buy a Titan Black, you have more money than sense.

The only time I could see a sane person buying a Titan black is if they need a workstation card that can do gaming as well.

Out of both of your comments I just hear *envy* and jealousy cos like I said any one of us would absolutely LOVE to have this card but now you both resorting to politics basically crying like babies *why are they charging so much*

Leave them be! AMD and Nvidia will always counter each other with a new product and forcibly one will drive the other's prices down at some point... Just AMD's 280X pricepoint not viable now cos of crypto mining...
Haha you bet I'm envious. I guess I'm a little annoyed because I recently purchased a 780ti and those only come with 3GB RAM where clearly it should have come with 6GB at the start. I wanted 6GB, but the Titan just wasn't as powerful graphically as the 780ti. Didn't mean to come off as sounding that I'm whining at Nvidia, I'm more than happy with my card, but there's just some things they could do that would give me more satisfaction and confidence in basically investing in a Nvidia card.

Understand exactly what your saying and that's why it boils done to your above quote...

All or most of us know that this is mainly because of crypto mining

Also I am not attacking anyone ect, just sharing my feelings :D Please don't take it personally.

Does it matter though? They are selling like hot cakes, AMD are raking in millions and Nvidia cards are stagnating.

Not arguing with you buddy but I did mention this a few posts ago...

There's o envy here; rather they are berating the nature of modern business models which (by design) are incredibly inefficient and frustrating for the consumer to deal with. Essentially it's the difference between being with a woman whom will become your wife and will share in your trials and tribulations [The desired business model]; and having a Gold-Digger who exists primarily to just sap the lifeblood from you R1 at a time [ The current business model].

Price is not the complaint; Just a small factor in the overall problem

OK, I take and value all of your points equally and from the outset I didn't mean to offend anybody... but if you look at this thread from the "outside", ok at least from my eyes, then it shouldn't even have been 7 pages long!

Desire, for some people, is a poison and they'll go to any means necessary to justify WHAT THEY FEEL IS RIGHT TO THEM, so once again look at the broader picture and see that MOST of us loathe and want this card! If we didn't, then this thread wouldn't even exist...

No offense @The Joker for posting it in the 1st place, but I hope you guys truly understand the meaning to all this madness lol!

I desire the card as I do with many fancy, expensive and technological stuff, but logically and consciously there's no way I can justify ever buying one. But you're right, often we fool ourselves into thinking there's a good reason to buy something we want, and companies prey on that.

BTW my Titan Black charity is up, I accept bitcoins, dogecoins and also Titan Blacks ;)

LMFAO!!
That's a good one!

Never been troll buddy, more a case of you not having good enough intelligence to debate with me, but nonetheless, enjoy!

If this sparks the debate champion in you, drop me a PM
Lets not derail this thread any longer...

Valid debating tactic that. Impugn the intellect of your opponent thus extolling your own...Genius. Awe-inspiring! :D

However you are correct in that there is no further to continue this here , (or at all; but that point is moot).

Well my point has been proven, the card was announced and some reviews are coming in and as predicted its on par or slower than a 780Ti, Nvidia...LOL

Meh, Porsche release stripped cars that have less than the base and cost twice as much for a longer name. Meet the 911 turbo gt of the PC world
