Violent gaming moments to make you cringe

For me it's The Walking Dead where you chop the dudes leg off with an axe and you have to click his leg for every swing of the axe. I spazzed out a bit for every click.

True.. Also chopping of your finger in Heavy Rain was an intense moment

I'm finding that Bioshock Infinite has some pretty gruesome moments in it. The claret is flowing..

Prob deadspace2,where you have to get the needle machine to put the needle in the middle of your eye.

I hate needles.

Everything in Heavy Rain was intensified by the fact that one strongly identified with Ethan. One couldn't help but feel for him. Crawling through the broken glass was also pretty rough

I refuse to look at lovely young Lara being killed.

As for the other games. Was scared to sh*t when some guy ran at me (with a chainsaw) in RE4, and 2 seconds later my controller shakes violently, and Leon's head is taken clean off. Just shock.:wtf:

Dead Space 2 needle in eye wasn't that bad, but my toes were crossed the entire time :p

What about black ops were you stuff a broken piece of glass in someone's mouth and then punch him in the face.

Most of the kill moves in god of war 3 are pretty gruesome. Beating Zues head to a pulp, loping off hermes legs and a few others here and there.

I found that funny, to be honest, but, I was hesitant in hitting the bra in the bek with a piece of shattered glass inside.

The Lara spike death was actually pretty dumb. I've such a giant spike goes straight through your brain I'm pretty sure you'd be dead instantly, not wriggling around like that for a few seconds afterwards.

It doesn't go into the brain... It goes into the neck :)

Or atleast that's how I saw it.

Your spine controls reflexes in your body, so it still might be possible.

Yeah, but she actually scrabbles and tries to tug at the spike before going limp.

I also want to draw attention to this:

The realism of the game along with Lara’s feminine qualities make the death so much worse,

WTF? I expect a bit better than that from MyGaming. So if this was Nathan Drake impaled on a spike it wouldn't be as bad because he's not a female?

Note my first comment in the thread...

It affects me (personally) A LOT more when a woman is harmed, than when a man is harmed. Men can still really fend for themselves (majority of the time). Women, on the other hand, are more vulnerable than men.

Also:

That's quite a general statement.
