What movie did you last watch thread.

John Wick, if I recall correctly.

Interesting premise. Action scenes were very smartly choreographed.

Also my last movie watched.

It kinda of felt like I was watching one long cut scene from a game... like Max Payne.

But it was pretty entertaining.

The Voices ........ whoa, thought it was gonna be some lighthearted comedy but it's pretty black. Loved the weirdness. Ryan Reynolds can play a whacky S.o.B that's for sure

Got this today, so gona give it a go tonight, looks pretty sweet...

Last movie though was probably 2 night stand... Chick flick, watched it with the mrs, but not as bad as most get...

ok just got back and fifty shades was waay better than i expected, the cinematography is orsome, color tone, areas etc and the acting from dakota johnson is pretty damn good, and mr grey only drive audi's which is a good thing

The Equalizer is next on my list!

Saw the trailer a few months back at the cinema and it looks awesome!

I don't watch many movies these days, but the last one was probably The Interview, which I probably only watched because of all the hype, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be though.

Watched 50 Shades tonight. Was very well made, the lead actress really gave a great performance. Embarrassing to admit, but I've actually read the books, which despite some poor writing I actually enjoyed, so it wasn't quite as good as I found them.

Haven't seen the movie or read the books. Or had a yearning to indulge in either. I know the wife wants to watch it, so will probably download it for her when the BR rip is available. I wanna watch Fury soon, after catching up with all my series...

I was not gonna watch it but now im intrigued. :D

It's definitely not a must-see-on-the-big-screen type movie, but I thought it was a pretty good film considering the subject material.
Definitely not in VIP

I watched "Jupiter Ascending" last night. While I'd expect critics to pan it, it was fun. Did you notice the Superman and Lois Lane reference from the original "Superman"? I'd love to have a pair of grav-boots. Feeding one of the four fundamental forces into an equation that compares the rate of change of one variable in relation to another sounds like gobbledygook to me, though. Like running a magnet over a piece of paper on which is written F= k(q.q'/r^2) and expecting something exciting to happen. I think.

I was thinking of the movie again this morning, and how Jupiter Jones could be left with a moral quandary: unless she also does some harvesting [albeit on a small scale], Earth is likely to fall into the hands of someone with fewer moral qualms.

If I remember correctly, the original Jupiter Jones was a character in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Three Investigators" books.
