Would have been nice to have a quality over quantity poll because anyone could cut 'n paste 40 articles ....... real effort is in the same standing (or worse off) in the poll as lazy and cheap (or just links in some cases, geezuz, really)

Which is why I liked Ichigo's post, as well as yours.

Anyway, I really think the voting should be limited to current mygaming members, well, members that were registered before voting had commenced. Otherwise its the guys with the most friends on FB or something which will win, and we'll get a lot of "MrExclusive's" one-post-wondering and spamming the vote.
 
While the competition is really about the popularity or level of interest garnered by a topic, I feel that it could turn out to be more a popularity contest between members (and not between topics) than anything else.

I really feel that this competition could have been run in a better way.

It's rewarding, via popularity, those who did jackshit except maybe put a link and some pasted words while those who thought about and formulated their own article/piece for the community, have to swim around with the crap.

It's a farce.
 
Can I vote for myself :D I tough I would not make it since we sundenly got busy that week so did not have so much time on my hands.
 
Ah well, I was gonna put together my thread on free games at some stage anyway and I had fun writing the mini reviews. For interest sake did anyone try the games I recommended?

Pretty cool. Very funny game though, I like the humour. Also, its like a mix between MGS and Metroid, which is I like. Just crashed a lot, will see why that happens. Will try out the others, since I still have the post bookmarked.
 
Can you take me out of contention please? I have no chance with other forum spammers spamming their shit on other forums for votes and would not go that route myself so rather not be associated with it.

Next time there is a proper community based comp, maybe gimme a shout.
