Woo! Load shedding, woo!

Crap! I'm scheduled for load shedding right during the live Persona 5 announcement (whatever it ends up being).

The worst for me is it hardly ever happens like they say it will... Iv had spots where im supposed to be shed and nothing, and then like last night was supposed to be 6-8 and it was 6 till after 10...

You may get lucky...

Yeah same here. It almost always goes off when they say it will, but when it comes back on is anyone's guess as it's never been on time for me. Either earlier (no complaints there I guess) or significantly later.
 
Think ima start prepping for a total blackout, cudnt hurt as well as if goverment is prepared they not telling us something

They were right on schedule. They seem to be on the ball in my area. Thankfully my laptop had enough juice and had enough mobile data available to see the P5 trailer.
 
The schedule has been off lately because of "emergencies" in certain areas. Had load shedding today in my area when we weren't supposed to, according to the schedule. YMMV.

We had on Tuesday when we weren't supposes to. My in-laws have at the moment that they weren't scheduled for either
 
We got a brand new schedule for our town recently, but it does not seem to be consistent. Will have to wait and see if it comes right or not.

No chance on it going down from Stage2 to Stage1 if you ask me, not according to the shortfall I saw.

I should also perhaps come clean, I work for Eskom [please don't shun me :cry:]. I saw on the System Status today (internal Eskom website showing megawatts generated, units off, grid events, etc.) that somewhere in the Eastern Cape part of the grid was off due to a monkey that climbed into a substation and got electrocuted, tripping the breakers. :D

Supposed to be watching Jeremy Loops at Live in Durban tonight, now we have stage 3 load shedding, I wonder if generators can run the sound and lighting
