Xbone - Game Questions

Arrg, just as I'm about to finish with Black Flag, it goes for Gold (hehe). Luckily I only got it for like R80 or something, so not too bad.

Also, Massive Chalice is an interesting game. Rather difficult at first to get into, and I'm not too sure about it's longevity, but it's fun and currently still free.

Some juicy Halo info and talk.

Thanks for sharing BeoTeK. Will listen to it over the weekend. I'm quite amped to get Halo 5. I got myself the Masterchief Edition, finally. Just need to download the 19GB of updates required to play the game first.

About bladdy time. It's a nice remake/redux. To be able to change to the way it looked prior to adjustments is nice to see, especially in terms of getting an understanding of how far we have come in gaming and graphics. Just a pity a didn't get to get through them all before selling the Xbone.

Haha yes it is about bladdy time. My plan is now to start and finish each game on it's own all before Halo 5 comes out. I have 115 days left, so at least time is on my side.

Cool, I'll be joining you. When I finish Dragon Age, I'll play the first of the Halo games then something else, then the next Halo then something else and so forth.

So, today I received Killer Instinct.

Being so extremely excited to play, popped in the disc... installing!
Then, executed the game... then BAM!!!

23GB update needed before I can open the game. FML:wtf:

oh thats painful.. this is one reason i prefer digital.. no suprise updates

Digital is nice and all, but will need a fast uncapped line and 1TB+ storage

Oh well, update should probably be done by the end of this coming weekend

So many things that Microsoft is bringing to the Xbox One. Super glad about all the announcements, and it seems that my Xbox One will see some major action in the next year.

Firstly, from now on, ALL Games With Gold for the Xbox 360 will have backwards compatibility, so grab all the games to have an even bigger library of games ones Backward Compatibility launched officially in November

Then, some screenshots leaked of the new interface we are all getting in the November update. It seems the November update is the one where Windows 10 will be coming to the Xbox One.

I loved the trailers for Scalebound, Quantum Break and Crackdown, and all three are going to be absolute epic games to fill 2016.

DieGrootHammer, do you know yet if 360 games will also get achievements with the backwards compatibility thing? I remember you said that with Mass Effect you didn't get any gamer points. I hope I didn't dream that.

No word on that yet. I hope they can get that issue fixed though.

Another thing I've seen Microsoft doing with BC is that almost all sequels and remasters are shipping with the old X360 games as well, so you'll be getting the new game as well as the previous games. Rainbow Six, Gears Of War, Just Cause 3, they all are shipping with the previous games in the franchise as well. this is a very good move from Microsoft, and creates super high value for all the games they are releasing.

Thanks, I also hope they get that sorted out. I've got quite a few 360 games that I'm busy playing through and that gets added onto with Games with Gold.

And it's awesome that they are including the old games! I saw the whole Gears of War thing. I've never played Gears of War so that's amazing to play all of them.

Man, I still feel bad that I bought your XBox One. I appreciate it though. I'm using it much more than I thought I would. In fact every Saturday I sit in front of it for most of the day.

If you do get an XBox One again then I hope you get a good special.

lol... to be honest though, with all the new releases coming (among Forza 6), I don't think it'll get much attention this time of year. Especially with The taken King around the corner.
