March Xbox free Games With Gold for SA confirmed

3 March 2014

With the beginning of March comes a new batch of Games with Gold for Xbox Live Gold members. The initiative gives Xbox Live Gold members a new free downloadable title on the 1st and 16th of every month for Xbox 360.

Xbox SA has confirmed that Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution will be available from 1 – 15 March for free download. From 16 – 31 March you will get Full House Poker.

The latter offering may leave local gamers disappointed though, with the international market due to receive Dungeon Defenders in place of the Texas hold ’em action.

Full House Poker allows you to play against your fellow Xbox Live card players – up to 30-man tournaments – while using your FameStar Avatar. If you are not a fan of bluffing and raising, the game will do little to fill the void the Dungeon Defenders no-show will leave.

Dungeon Defenders lets gamers create a hero from one of four classes in an RPG co-op tower defence mash-up, in which the land of Etheria must be saved from waves of evil enemies.

Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution is a title local members will receive with the rest of the world. “Go head to head with history’s greatest leaders as you wage war, conduct diplomacy, discover new technologies and build the most powerful empire the world has ever known” in the game which is already available for download.
