Prepare to cringe at Sniper Elite 4’s brutal takedowns

The Sniper Elite series has become somewhat known for its meticulously visualised gore thanks to its bullet-time kill cams.

Shooting Nazis in the testicles is always enjoyable, but developers Rebellion are looking to ramp things up for the fourth instalment in the popular franchise.

Sniper Elite 4 will feature a whole lot more hand-to-hand combat, with some brutal melee takedowns that also use the x-ray camera system. Punching a guy so hard that his innards burst is now a thing.

Alongside bludgeoning the entire Third Reich to death, you’ll also be able to once again gun down Hitler with Sniper Elite 4‘s Target Führer pre-order bonus mission.

Despite making a massive bloody mess along the way, Sniper Elite 4 is actually going to look ridiculously gorgeous. Check out some of the screenshots below.
