Anyone else think that was a no-ball that got Amla? Morkel had a similar call go against him :( Ah well, time for De Kock to put on his big boy panties and bat through.

I didn't see it, I'm following it on cricinfo, but from the sounds of things it looks like it may have been a no-ball.

And Ja, de Kock needs to bring his best now. He's doing better this game than he has been, so let's see if he can keep it up.

What is weird though is that they gave the benefit of the doubt to the bowler. Benefit of the doubt always goes with the batsman, not the bowler, so I am not sure what happened there exactly.

Ya that no ball was definitely touch and go... Really Glad to See De Kock getting some runs... And Malinga is no mugg with the ball... to score runs against him you doing something right...

Dodgy decisions happen I guess. As long as we win this convincingly. And the semis, and the finals...

And just yesterday I said that De Kock has a good innings in him waiting to be unleashed. Glad he proved me right today. Good on him, it's going to do the world of good to his confidence going into the semi's, because we will need him there.

You and me BOTH!!! He is the kind of player we need to get our innings off to a big start... Hopefully this is the start of something beautiful...

Ya shit man... DL always seems to screw us... we would have made way more if we had another 7 overs... but still our total is good... Miller had a fantastic cameo at the end... its a pity AB didnt see more of the strike...

And suddenly it doesn't look so good anymore. I left the house while there was a rain break, got to work, had to take care of some stuff and when I finally get to look again NZ has 36/0. Ugh.

Urgh McCullan and Guptil is making it seem easy against our opening bowlers. Why did Philander have to come back?!?! He is not on form and just came back from an injury. How the hell do you put him into the team for a semi-final and not play Abbot??!?!?!

It is glaringly obvious that we are missing that 5/6th bowler in our team. Duminy is not bad, but he is not up to standard for a semi-final like this one.

It breaks my heart that New Zealand is beating us in rugby and cricket now. It was a good game but things just didn't go our way.

even if they won , they didnt deserve to win, 2 missed run outs 2 obvious dropped catches, it was clear from the beginning steyn wasnt bowling at his best, they went into the game with too much confidence thinking new zealand would be a walkover.

I shall sit next to you and do the same... 2 grown men crying is better that 1...

lol. Indeed. This is really heart-breaking.

That dropped catch and the 3 EASY run outs cost us...

I think that the break in the game with the weather also really didn't help us. It broke our momentum a bit.

Ag. It really really sucks to see SA coming home before the end of yet another World Cup. I'm glad that we an say that there wasn't any choking. The Proteas gave it everything and it just didn't go in our favour.
