Got the full mastercrafted feline set last night. I'll most likely finish the game bu Thursday at the latest. I've still got a LOT to do but I really want to see how the story plays out.
I wish I knew how to check how long I've been playing, but I'm guessing somewhere around the 60 or 70 hour mark. There are still SO many undiscovered locations iny my game, but I'll leave those until after I've finished the main storyline. Will most likely also try to get both the (masterwork) Griffin and Ursine set once I'm free-roaming. At least I also found saddlebags that increase my storage capacity to 130 so I should be able to carry all 3 sets around with me.I still have a heck of a long way to go, got to level 20 with nearly 50 hours played. Currently using the Ursine chest piece because it looks the best IMO and the rest all Griffon gear because I love using signs. I'm hoping to polish this off in the next two weeks.![]()
WOW! My game tell me I'm sitting around the 70 hour mark and I've only recently leveled to 12 iirc. Where they hell are you guys finding these cool armour sets? All I ever come across is the usual boring stuff, nothing great. Also, I still haven't found a smith that can craft half the stuff I have diagrams for.

The free camera can be put to some great uses for screenshots. For the image at the top of this page, I was just sailing along when a basilisk started circling over me. I opened the console (F2) and typed 'testpause', which froze time, then closed the console and activated the free camera (F1). Then I just flew my eyeballs over to the basilisk and snapped that picture. It's hard to tell, but that's Geralt sitting in the boat below. (You can enlarge these pictures by clicking the little icon on the top right corner.) When I was done, I just entered 'testunpause' into the console, time started again, and I led the monster to the nearby bridge so I could watch him fight soldiers through the free camera.
160?! Damn, until I found those saddlebags last night I thought the max was 90. [emoji14]Weird my capacity is at 160 so I have storage for days!
Sounds like you're too much exploring lol. Doing quests of your level, especially the main quests awards a lot of xp. To find the witcher diagrams some of the smiths you meet will have the treasure maps that start the quests to discover them.

I haven't done any horse races or anything so I'm guessing that's where you get the best saddle/saddlebags?
BeoTeK and Hagan: Like Isengard said you can buy treasure maps for the Witcher gear sets from some merchants/blacksmiths. Alternatively, you can just use a guide to find the ones you want. I had the map for the base feline and Griffin sets but used a guide for all the upgrade diagrams. Doing the upgrades also require rare/expensive components; I burned through all my money getting the mastercrafted set.

Yeah I also don't really like using guides, but I wanted to get the mastercrafted set before doing the final story missions and I didn't feel like searching for the right merchant/blacksmith with the maps.Aaah... I have a few of those, read them but haven't progressed to trying to find them. Been focusing a lot on the story and just exploring. I very seldom use guides or a walk-through though.
Have you been exploring every where?
I get lost in this dude! I hardly ever use the fast travel, sometimes I just trot (as in walk) along on Roach admiring the country side and beauty of it. I explore nooks and [-]t[/-]crannies, I listen to all types of dialogue. I explore villages and listen to the chatter. This game is remarkable!
Anyone plan on getting the expansion pass, and know what it entails beside two new regions and supposedly another 30 hours of gameplay?
Of course I'm buying it. Twice in fact. Not sure about the contents though, but it's just one new region not two. One of the expansions is in Oxenfurt I think and the other in the new area (Touissant).Anyone plan on getting the expansion pass, and know what it entails beside two new regions and supposedly another 30 hours of gameplay?
