Restrictions on Dahuta have finally been removed if any of you still want to roll there :)

I think the lack of land is gonna be a killer for me, so i'm sticking to Nui. Even on Nui i ran around Villanelle and there is nothing left. Alot of incomplete houses are up for demolish 9/10 Oct though , but otherwise not a single space for a house in the zone...so i'm glad i got my spot in mahadevi. I can't imagine how you get spots on servers like Dahuta/Kryptosa without being in some far off corner of the zone or squeezed between a rockface and another house.

Discovered the iron quary today and probably spend close to 2k lp just mining iron. Now i need to find a ton of lumber.

It's amateur hour again at Trion. Authentication servers down the entire day, and they took like 3 hours just to acknowledge there is an issue. This happened last weekend too, also took them entire day to fix. Pathetic.

We spend the whole weekend farming mats for my bro's clipper and finally got it done this evening.

My plans to finish my boat got a bit delayed. I decided to level an alt and sell the 16x16 farm of my alt to my main, so i now got 2 farms and i also decided to move to a place where i can put down all my stuff together. So now i'm in a bit of a desert/arid zone, next to a nice oasis (Arcum Iris) and the mining spot across from me.

Sadly my taxes went up like crazy. I am now trying to sell my house in Mahadevi , must say the in-game system is quite well designed to avoid scams, just unfortunate you can't really advertise globally on the AH. So players need to walk past the house and be physically there to buy it , requiring me to spam chat to find buyers. At this stage i got 2x houses , 2x medium farms , 1x small farm with my weekly tax rate sitting at like 110 tax credits which is gonna kill me .

I must say even on Nui, the space has totally disappeared, if you did not put your house / farm down in such a way that it can expand to 24x24 you are screwed. Very few people can actually have their 16x16 farm and 8x8 farm together at this point, especially in the Temperate zones. I explored through all of them and only spots open is the "mansion" areas (so can't build farms there).

So even my Mahadevi farms/house was a nice location, but it was all over the place, my 1 farm was 3 houses down the road, my other farm in between 3 other farms the other side of the road from my house. Now that i grabbed the wide open spots in Arcum (it looks like WoW Barrens) where no one wanted to go because it's the starter zone and well it is arid , i got it all together and placed it so (as did everyone else who place there) that i can expand.

Looks like i wasn't the only one with this idea, you can see a few guilds intentionally did some "town planning" with the area, because they could. The more popular areas looks like sandton, everyone squeezed into -really- tight spots, no open spaces anywhere.

Nice, that's the thatched farmhouse? Is it worth all the resources though? I've found it has become quite impossible to place 24x24 structures due to lack of space. Much easier to get 16x16 gaps.

yep it is. As you can see the farm around it that comes with it goes past the trees to garlic next to it. So it really is a very nice area if you are interesting in farming. Also it comes with a Well. No need to run away from your plot to get water. Currently I have the farm house, large farm and 2 small farms.

Im busy working towards my tractor, cant wait to have that thing!

If you have spare labour points to burn and want immediate cash. Ill admit its not the best use of ur LP but can give u a quick cash boost.

Mine 300 stone and convert it into stone bricks (100) and then sell that on the AH. This will roughly cost u 1500lp+- depending on ur luck (1000lp for mining and 500LP for processing) and will net you 40g on just the stone brick, this is excluding all the ore and gems u get from mining. Don't process the ore, its not worth it just sell it. From using 1500lp I get about 60g from the bricks and misc items I get from mining. So iv done that in the beginning to help me afford my thunderstruck wood and certificate needed for the tractor. Also u will get a lot of XP for doin this. Again not the best use of LP, but certainly the quickest ROI.

The way I see it, the quicker I can get to my tractor the sooner I can start making some serious gold.

Too many stone auctions = people undercutting = everyone taking my profits.

Edit: I can't recall, are you eat or west.

I'm on Nui (East) , so not yet cutting into anyone's profits hehe. The stone i'm mining is so far going straight into my own buildings / crafting. Hopefully will be building my clipper tonight and then i will decide what i will aim for next, maybe that Farm Cart for carrying multiple trade packs or getting a bigger house or something (since no one is building mansions yet, it might be an interesting goal to pursue).

Found a sunken ship last night. Unfortunately it was too dark and we needed some of those floating things to get any loot to the surface. I need to look up if there's flares or something

I'm amazed at how much of the game logic is processed client side. No wonder its been hacked to the point of being a wasteland in RU.

Yea, it's quite sad, i saw screenshots of the land grabbing tool and how they do it. Hackers simply manipulate the client files to not pop up the confirm screen and autoconfirm . They can scan entire zones to see the demolition dates of houses etc etc.

Luckily i am not on a highly contended server, so i think the hacking is less noticeable. There is not hordes of people standing around houses waiting for it to be demolished and such. I'm however keeping watch on my neighbours' properties , i have a hunch a few of them will be leaving soon enough so i can position my little kingdom properly ;).

Anyway, yea, it remains to be seen what this game will be like in 2-3 months with all these exploits and hacks. I am just trying to get as self-sufficient as possible, so that whatever the hackers do to the AH does not influence me too much. Maybe i'm bored when i hit lvl 50 and well then i move to the next MMO as per usual, however this is one of the few MMOs that has the mechanics in place to be great on the long run.

I unfortunately don't see how Trion is going to fix any of this, up to now they have been totally incompetent and has been shown to have tried get away with as little resources assigned to the game as possible (very little support, very low GM presence in game etc etc). Even a game like The Secret World, where Funcom has reduced their staff numerous times, you are still able to flag down a GM within an hour.

I'm checking tonight, if i can get worker's pots for 4G a pot, i'm grabbing them.

I managed to sell my 2nd house for 100G, so i got some gold to get rid off hehe. The next thing i want to build is that Farmer Cart, but i noticed that Thunderstruck Log ingredient is insanely expensive and i actually want to try and get it myself rather than buy it, so will see how it goes with my forest building hehe.

flip I better check this tonight!!!

Tonight I should have my cart, and then I need to work out the routes im goin to take. But with Planetary annihilation finally getting offline mode today I might be slinging moons at planets for a little while.

Maybe have both running, trade route on 1 screen, PA on the other
