I'm not really sure what they're planning with this one. I mean, DARKSEID. That guy is bad ass and probably one of my favourite DC villains. So here's what I guess is going to happen. He's going to smash everyone. Then, something will happen, the heroes will do something amazing (probably Batman and Supes) and then Darkseid will escape at the last minute...
I think I've got Justice League stories figured out.
Also, I've heard Secret Wars #1 was amazing...

Sounds about right for anything Darkseid related, but this is at the very least something Geoff Johns has been working towards for a while (unlike freakin' Convergence). In any case it actually looks like earth prime is going to be caught in the middle of a conflict between Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor. I'm not going to lie, I'm cautiously excited (caution because DC event), and Justice League #40 acting as a prologue for Darkseid War, it brings in some interesting lore for the idea behind every multiverse event (good and bad), and how reality keeps changing with the DCU. It does sound exciting. In fact, I read the Divergence FCBD book, that does touch on the Darkseid War. There's this one spread...tjo. The art is amazing.
