Grand Theft Auto V - PC

I ask you this as I know you're probably the only one that has played on all platforms. Is this really worth the cross over to PC?
(ie, should I pick it up again)

I'm still sitting on the fence about this.
I've played it on all platforms except Xbone as well, but wheter or not getting it again is worth it is up to you. You should be able to play it at a solid 60 FPS with decent settings at least. I got it again mainly for modding and stuff so I can mess around with the game and just have fun. The FPS mode also works way better on PC (obviously) and the higher framerate helps with that as well. Apart from tje visuals everything else is pretty much the same as it was on the other platforms.

Yeah, as I said, still on the fence. I bought and played it twice already on 360 and One. If I get it for PC it be mostly for visual purposes and modding. But with all the recent news of people getting banned for single player mods, I'm wondering.

BeoTeK Well, Rockstar did say that they won't ban people for using mods in SP, but since the mods are only a few files you can move them out of the folder if you want to play online just to be safe. I haven't gone back to Online after installing mods but I'm not too worried about MP anyway. At the moment I'm just screwing around causing mayhem everywhere with stuff like turning the police off or locking to a full wanted level and seeing how long I can survive etc. It's also fun playing as different people/animals and being able to spawn any vehicle.

Yeah, I'll admit. While playing on console I never used cheats or anything once. And in terms of online, I think I played very little of online as you needed Gold in order to play.

But thanks for the feedback mate.

Mmmmm PC version is much better, especially driving and shooting...Would I spend R700 on it again?...Its still the same game, it looks better, it runs smoother, probably the best rockstar pc game to date...Mmmm it's a tough one bud.

I'll call you later lol

Hot damn the flying mod is so much fun, especially in first-person mode. I see there's also a rebalance mod for the crime system/police that fixes a lot of stuff, e.g. animals will no longer report crime and if you kill all witnesses before someone calls 911 you won't be wanted, etc. Will try that out a bit later.

so i was jamming with Roomys online last night and no one else is online... who still plays online on a regular basis

I took a break from playing online to focus on the SP as well as play other games instead.
Maybe the weekend I will join again.

I'm online basically every night for a few hours. I do the daily objectives for cash (I'm poor) and then fail a few PUG heists and go to sleep.
