Grand Theft Auto V - PC

I haven't had as much fun playing a game recently as I have with GTA V. The single player is incredible, and although the storyline has gotten some stick by reviewers, I'm loving it.

But I agree with online. I'm the only one of my friends who is into GTA, so I'm always in some lobby with randoms, and wait forever in loading screens for jobs.

The online part is broken but there is a solution I have been doing to reduce such problems.
1. Always start in Single player, then go to the Start Online game.
2. There is a option for start solo session (This has sorted out my long loading times in trying to get into the Online portion)
3. Get a lot of local friends and only allow them to join your session. It really improves the online part when using local guys.

The biggest issue is , GTA has and always will have a really bad online part, their servers are in america, their systems dont look at any meta-data(I.e. User Geo locations, ping times, upload or download speeds), so you are likely to get matched up with people from all over the globe.

The worse experience I had with online was when I was matched with 3 Japense players, loading took horribly long, lag was so crazy I really did nothing to help them as it was only causing problems for them. For e.g. They cleared the area of enemies and I was still trying to kill someone that was already dead, they raged hardcore cause I wasnt getting in the car.

Got killed after doing a mission. Mofo stole some of my cash and my game crashed.
It's time for a new mobo. It's time for 8GB of RAM.

"Error connecting to server. You will be taken back to story mode as we're too lazy right now to search for a different server or give you a retry option.
Have fun" ... is what the message should read.
