Offical Far Cry 3 Thread

Wow. That was really fun. Short break then I'm jumping right back in.

Everything I hated in FC2 was fixed here.
 
To those already playing, my left hand just turned black. I'm not sure why. A snake bit me earlier on my left arm. Any link, perhaps?

This is a Far Cry 3 Thread... I must absolutely post something in here even if I'm never ever getting this game. EVER!
 
I just ran two guys on the beach over. With my boat. They barely even knew what hit them. One moment they were just chilling, the next they turn around to a speeding boat running up the shore.

Yeah, but you don't get to experience the game in all its visual splendor like the PC guys do. :p This game is beeeeautiful on High on my PC. Possibly the most beautiful game I've seen since Witcher 2. I just watched the sun rise over the wreckage of an old ship, and it is the first time I've really noticed just how much DX11 adds to a game's visuals.

Anyway, it's just MP and co-op that isn't available. We can still play the story.

I think I'm going to skip my ex's going-away party tomorrow night in favour of playing this.

I run it at full

My specs

cpu- intel core I5-2500K 4.6Ghz
Motherboard- asus P8Z68-V pro
Gfx- radeon HD 7950
Ram-8gb corsait vengeance
1 tb hdd

Haven't checked my FPS yet but its solid well over 30 I'm geussing
