Offical Far Cry 3 Thread

Know what? Stuff this! Alternative route it is, I've tried everything and Uplay is still singling me out.

By the way, what exactly does Uplay check to determine that it's your first time logging in with it?

Seeing as you just added me on uPlay, I assume you got it working? :p

What I absolutely love about this game is the small things and the attention to detail in it. Climbing onto a boat and seeing a shark turn and swim away, while you didn't even know a shark was coming after you, misjudging your turn and then having your vehicle careen off a cliff to certain destruction down below, the way your character swan dives into water, etc. I literally just spent about 30 minutes driving around, looking for huge cliffs to swan dive off of.

It's like being an adventurer, except from the safety and comfort of your chair. :p
 
I really like this game. Like the camo for the guns :p

But it annoys me I have to press escape all the time
Also I am running it in DX11 on ultra running very smoothly.

Yeah it runs amazing getting 90-100 fps on ultra
 
Taking down an outpost is very satisfying:D. Blew up a jet-ski as a distraction, which lured half of the outpost's guards right into a some landmine's, while a group of Komodo dragons attacked the stragglers allowing me to pick them off one by one... This game is heaps of fun:D.

3 1/2 hours in, and I've forgotten that I spent 24 hours not playing it:rolleyes:...

Pretty much.

Didn't know msaa is that taxing on dx11, turned it off and now I'm getting 50-70 with 60 average and drops to 45 instead of drops to 35.

As for the game... stay away. The need to not quit is strong with this one.
