Official Wasteland 2 thread

Yeah my map broke so when I restarted the game I could go to where you find the supplies for Holiday. Did you follow the tortoise?

Anyone notice if you have a person that uses his skills the most like disable traps level up much faster than the rest of the group?

Got a level 18 3/4 to level 19 and the rest of my team just hit level 17

Ah oky. Yeah, I did follow him (it takes forever though, cause he walks to the other side of the damn map).

Yeah, I've noticed, but they just level first with me, they aren't ahead by a lot. For me it's 2 people leveling quicker though. One guy has first aid, surgeon and demo. The other has all the unlocking skills. They are only about 400 - 600xp ahead of my other 2 "main" guys though.
 
The reward from the tortoise is epic :D

I need to figure out how to get to Danforth in the prison, those turrents kick my ass :P

I just found the cave with the cave-in, and I'm going to explore it next. Also found the canyon of the titans, but need to up my radiation gear first.

Had a trinket (-Armor+2 Per) give me more Per and I dug up the place and so I followed the tortoise just to find out I already dug it up.
My main has leadership L9 and her energy weapon L7or8 and then I got computer sience L2 but have not leveled that up yet.
Then my bruser with bomb defusing and he is the one that is a whole level and 3/4 higher than the rest.

There are a few ways to get into that prison. While I was searching the other day for fixes and had to restart since there where non I read up on how you could get into the prison.
Only way in now is to go

to the city Damonta and get the robot track. sounds like you went guns blazing :D You could skip most of the red scorpians and talked to him and get him to let you in peacefully.


Ps I wish they would make beta forums not be indexed by google so that search results won't display beta forums/discusions all the time.

Woah, that is a nice trinket, wouldn't mind one like that myself. Thanks for the spoiler tag :) I would like to try some more before reading up on how to get in.

Some? All my guys are constantly close to encumbered due to me dragging around a bunch of sabot rockets :3
I took them with incase I ran into more slicer dicers :D

Cool once you run into the nuns the slicer dicers will look like a cake walk.

Ps all depens on what party you have ofc.

I never played Wasteland 1 :3

Played Fallout 1 & 2 though; mostly Fallout 2. Think I finished it about 3 times, with a few other plays that I never completed.
 
I played Wasteland 1 when I was about 10 years old. Never managed to finish it, but I got quite far. When they gave it away as a reward for backing Wasteland 2, I decided to fire it up again and finish it. It was well worth it :D
 
This game needs formations omg when it gets to the heavy battles I end up with all of my characts so stacked that I take way to much damage from the first stage.

Also why are their so many pistol and melee recruitable characters?

Nope later on you run into groups and as soon as the map loads your in combat.

Something strange is happening I lots one of my members(dead) but now I can't seem to replace him. So got 6 out of 7 members now.

Ah ok that sucks. For my next playthrough I think I will choose a very initiative heavy team.

What happens if you try to recruit somebody again, say from the ranger citadel?

Not on the same map atm as the citadel. Got 2 members I can get but everytime I try to I have to dismiss someone. Rather than it just replacing the ranger that is dead.
