I did the same research last week, when I was thinking of moving my ADSL line, and came to the exact same amounts. Kind of wish that I had waited a few days, then I wouldn't had to do all the work myself and would have benefited from promotions that started today. Funny how the world works sometimes.

<This is an amazing prize. Would love to be on the receiving end of this competition.>

To me is was the article regarding the pricing of SSD's:

I've always been interested in them, but back when i last checked they were still way overpriced. Since reading this article i took the plunge and invested in the Vertex 3.

I have to say, the performance gain was mind blowing. startup times and load times are a fraction of what it used to be. Even loaded some of my most played games like Battlefield 3 and the load times are amazing.

Would definitely recommend it.

Gaming Vs. Audiophile Headphones

Choosing the right headphones is very important.

Taking into account a pair that doesn't fully support what it is you want your headphones to produce can be troublesome, cause, that is the set you gonna sit with for quite a few months, if not years.

Headphone choosing is completely the individuals choice, but choosing wrongly may just lead to disappointments.

Being an avid gamer myself, though pretty average at most of them, one has to wonder what sort of pricing structure we will be looking at once this becomes available to Joe Public. Low latency and tremendous uplink and download speeds will be most welcome. This is also not something that will be readily available in all areas. Given the track record of the mobile operators when it comes to new technology I suspect that this will be far more expensive than ADSL. And when this is launched we will also have to see how Telkom have progressed in upgrading their fixed line offerings. Until then here is holding thumbs. I am one for moving forward with new technology and offerings, but not at the cost of ripping off the consumer. We are so far behind in terms of internet and internet related products, it would be nice to see something like this being very cost effective for the consumer.

This article interested me as I have always tried to get the biggest display possible for PC use. After using a 27" iMac for months and then reverting back to PC, I had to get something the same size or bigger. I ended up with a 32" TV and it works great. I always advise people to try spend a little extra and get a 32" TV, it makes your gaming experience that much more exciting.
