PS4 Pro, PS VR, and PS4 Slim launch date and South African pricing revealed

The South African pricing and launch date of PlayStation’s new hardware lineup has been revealed.

MyGaming spoke to Ster-Kinekor Entertainment CEO Mario dos Santos, who released rough details regarding the pricing and release date of the PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim, and PS VR.

Below is the general release date information and South African pricing for the PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim, and PS VR.

Release Date

PlayStation 4 Pro: The PS4 Pro is set to launch at the end of November 2016.

PlayStation 4 Slim: The PS4 Slim will launch in mid-November 2016.

PlayStation VR: PS VR will only arrive in South Africa at the end of January 2017, due to a staggered international release.

• PlayStation 4 Pro: R6,500 – R7,000
• PlayStation 4 Slim 500GB: R5,000
• PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB: R6,000
• PlayStation VR: R6,500 – R7,000
