If you’ve never heard of Cube World, you should probably take notice, because it combines the best elements of Minecraft and an RPG exploration game, and clicks it together like Lego.
Cube World is a random and procedurally-generated voxel-based game, which takes the chore of building out of the equation, and gives you the task of fighting monsters and taking on quests.
Developed by a husband and wife duo, Cube World allows players to choose from different characters, including an awesome Frogman race, and then you’ll immediately be sent out into the world to tackle whatever you desire.
The game’s focus on exploration is really highlighted, as you can reach any point that you see.
You can climb, swim, dive hang glide and even sail from one island to another in order to really search your way around the world.
Every Cube World day, new missions are available. Missions send players to dungeons or huge boss monsters. Completing a mission gives valuable rewards like weapons, armour and platinum coins. Platinum coins can be used to upgrade weapons and armour.
There are also different classes to choose from, including warrior, ranger, mage and rogue. Each class can choose one out of two specializations, which changes playstyle and abilities of that class.
Another unique feature of Cube World is the action-based combat. There is manual aiming, dodging by good reactions and combos that can be executed.

The demo is free, and the alpha is priced at $20 (R200).
