Almost rugby time! I can't wait! :D

Statistically the Bokke don't that well in Australia and the Aussies are favourites for this game but I've got a good feeling about this game.

Go Bokke!

Ugh, the Wallabies completely outplayed us in the second half. Too many unforced errors by the Bokke.

Yeah we were under constant pressure in the second half. Plus our scrum was very disappointing when the replacements came on. Also Pollard needs to learn to kick the ball well out when you have a penalty. Just too many silly mistakes.

At least out discipline was pretty good for a change.

The Boks will announce the new captain this afternoon, so it's clear that Matfield will miss the test Saturday. Lood de Jager played well enough to keep the spot at lock anyway

de Jager was amazing. The amount of tackles that he made was exceptional. I guess they'll probably make Burger the captain.

So Burger as captain it is i think it's a good choice and he's playing some of his best rugby again :D. And we might see Brussow in a Bok jersey again :D

Possible Springbok team: Willie le Roux, JP Pietersen, Jesse Kriel, Damian de Allende, Bryan Habana, Handre Pollard, Ruan Pienaar, Schalk Burger, Heinrich Brussow, Francois Louw, Lood de Jager, Eben Etzebeth, Vincent Koch, Bismarck du Plessis, Tendai Mtawarira.

I would like to see Reinach partner with pollard and Pienaar with Lambie i think those combinations will work better and the de Allende and Kriel combo works good for me atm :D

The All Blacks picked a good side for the match, I can't see that we are going to beat them tomorrow...
As much as my heart wants to disagree with you, you speak the truth. It will be a big test for the Boks, and they'll need to be at the top of their game to beat the AB's.

Wyvern, how was the F1? I missed it unfortunately and also haven't read anything about it yet. Hmmm in fact I don't even know what the results are.

Hahaha Soli, I am currently listening and watching the race at work :P (On my tablet, hidden by a pile of paperwork :P) Since I missed the race as well, was just following it on twitter and at lap 15 its a massive race - Vettel in the lead with Raikkonen 2nd and Rosberg 3rd with the williams in the middle of the pack and hamilton was working his way up from 9th.

It seems that Lewis had a terrible start and the Ferrari's just sped off into the distance. In the end tho it seems that there was a lot of bumper cars with loads of penalties to a lot of drivers, but in the end the result was beautiful.

Wow that's quite a surprising result! I'm disappointed that I missed it. Thanks for the update.

From the 1/3 I have managed to watch so far, we missed out on an amazing race, with lots of Lewis bitching and moaning, loads of maldonado caused accidents, bits breaking off Kimi's car, and Vettel reigning supreme again in a race that was not supposed to be his.

But the funny thing for me is how much Lewis has moaned about everything going wrong and he just lost his head - a very typical Lewis reaction when he isnt at the front.

I have to say, The Merc's just was not there, they lost their cool and made a lot of stupid mistakes. Vettel was just on the ball and flawless during the race. My biggest disappointment is Botta's, he just had a bad weekend and it seems that Ferrari and Redbull has done some work on their cars and the Ferrari looks great on the track.

you can give alonso a box on wheels and if it doesnt fail he will get you a good result

Also agree with that, Alonso basically drove the wheels off that useless Mclaren and I hope that he stays in F1 and not move to another racing division.

Race of the season so far in my opinion.

The start by both Ferraris was epic. Vettel serene, calm totally in control throughout. Kimi can't seem to catch a break at all, he was easily able to maintain P2 until a fault with his kinetic energy recovery system cost him significant power loss.

LewLew moaned a bit about others causing him problems but all his mistakes were of his own making. Nico R made a weird tyre decision and then relegated himself down the order when he damaged his car colliding with D-Ric.

Great effort by Red Bull to get a double podium, and by McLaren to get both their cars into the points.

Huge result for Kvyat and Verstappen with the youngsters showing a lot of clever, good racecraft throughout.

Pastor outdid himself with 3 penalties in the race. In fact don't think I've seen as many penalties in a single GP ever. Pic of the FIA notice board after the race shows at least 11 Penalty Notifications pinned down the bottom:

I am hopeful that Pastor will be finally let go, his big wallet is not big enough to cover all the penalties he is accumulating. Well at the rate he is going he will lose his super license.

Penalty Points – Current Totals
Luke Murphy July 26, 2015

Following a chaotic Hungarian Grand Prix, five drivers picked up penalty points on their licences. The running total for each driver has been updated.

At the Hungaroring, penalty points were handed out to Romain Grosjean, Pastor Maldonado, Daniil Kvyat, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.

Penalty points are handed out by the stewards to the drivers if they are guilty of any on-track misdemeanours. Twelve penalty points within a space of one year will incur a ban. Points acquired over twelve ago are removed from a drivers licence.

Lotus have the drivers who have acquired the most penalty points so far, with Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado picking up 6 points each over the last twelve months.

Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari), Sergio Perez (Force India), Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull Racing) and Nico Hulkenberg (Force India) all have one reprimand this year, which effectively a warning without the need to be given penalty points. If a driver receives three reprimands over the course of a year, then they will be given a ten-place grid penalty for the following race.

Driver’s Penalty Points:

Romain Grosjean – Lotus – 6pts
Pastor Maldonado – Lotus – 6pts
Marcus Ericsson – Caterham/Sauber – 5pts
Max Verstappen – Toro Rosso – 5pts
Sergio Perez – Force India – 4pts
Sebastian Vettel – Ferrari – 3pts
Nico Hulkenberg – Force India – 2pts
Jenson Button – McLaren – 2pts
Roberto Merhi – Manor – 2pts
Daniil Kvyat – Red Bull Racing – 2pts
Lewis Hamilton – Mercedes – 2pts
Kevin Magnussen – McLaren – 2pts (Not competing in 2015)
Jean-Eric Vergne – Toro Rosso – 2pts (Not competing in 2015)
Esteban Gutierrez – Sauber – 1pt (Not competing in 2015)

Nico did not make the call about his tires, he wanted the softer tire to push Vettel but the team grabbed the nearest tires that where ready for him. The also couldnt afford to take a chance and do another stop. Altho I suspect a stop would have been better for him and he would have ended up ahead of long lip lewis
